Studio Update: Mouth Animation Standardized, "Zoo Flight" on Rough Ground, Changes to the Wiki, and More.

By: Andrew Bermudez (LEGO Studios; September 26, 2013)      As September comes to a close and Halloween fast approaching, it's once again time to look at how current projects are shaping up.      With the release of our entry to Minilife TV's animation contest, titled Sam 'n Bob Brawl: The Second Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards Commercial ,  a new element has been introduced to our films that will become main-stay from now on: complete mouth animation! "Yes, we may have had mouth animation in some of our previous films, such as An Afternoon at the Zoo ," said Steve Brocko, head of Drawn to Life Animation, "But now, all of our films are required to feature mouth animation. It's just one more step being made to make 'Ten Years of Going Crazy!' work." The Film School Challenge Results, Plus More News!

By: Andrew Bermudez (LEGO Studios; September 15, 2013)      After months of challenges, bookended by a series of unfortunate complications, including the removal of video responses for YouTube videos, the high-concept game show contest The Film School Challenge has now come to an end. We would like to congratulate Marcus Hutchinson for winning the grand prize: the part of the Sunglasses Tourist in Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients ! In addition, he will also receive a replica of the minifigure used in the film and a DVD copy of Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients after its release next year. Congratulations to Marcus Hutchinson and well done to all of our participants!      However, the removal of YouTube video responses will change the dynamics for our next contest: Minifigure Character Creation Sweepstakes. Let's get started!      To tie into our growing collection of villain pages on the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Wiki, a new poll has started on this press room, asking which Mustache Maniacs Film Co. villain is your favorite. For the record, this list is restricted to villains, so any henchman characters, such as Patrick, Pogo, and Cal Pada Guard #18, don't count. The poll is open from now until Halloween night. If you want to vote in something else as well, remember that  voting  for The Second Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards  is still continuing until the same day. Vote today! New Adventures and Contests Await During "Ten Years of Going Crazy" as "Summer of Surprises" Ends!
