'Forest of Fear' has Arrived!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; October 21, 2011)      After a long 2-year development period (unusually long for an 18-minute film), Forest of Fear has finally been released. At the premiere, the cast and crew was in attendance, as well as invited VIPs. Among these VIPs was the original director, Barry Hallows. Before going in, he got a picture with the film's final director, Seth Masterson. Afterwards, he declared that he loved the movie. "This was just a wonderful movie, with all of the monsters, colorful characters, and great ending. I can certainly say that this may be one of the best films I've seen this Halloween season," said Barry. "Even though we're sad to not have Barry direct the film, the input that he gave during development is what I give credit to for making this film the way it is today," said Lego Studios CEO Mark Matthew.      Now that Forest of Fear has been released and submitted into Festival of Souls 2, it is now time f

Studio Update: A Big and Busy Fall Season is Here!

Besides the main focus of this season, which is Forest of Fear , the studio also has plans for at least one major project each month. Here is the Fall (and Holiday) line-up for the remaining three months of the year:      October: October kicked off with the release of Freddy and Joey in Corn Farm (Animatic) . During this month, on the 21st, the film everyone is excited about, Forest of Fear , will make its debut. However, because it is being released for the Festival of Souls 2 contest, all parts of the film will be released simultaneously. Also this month, two more Tales of the Adventurers comics will be released.      November: Next, things will begin to feel colder. At least, our November (or, should I say Novemburr) film will.
