Studio Update: 'Johnny Thunder 2' Extras Begin Appearing and Barry Hollows Responds to 'Forest of Fear.'

By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; August 27, 2010)      Fall is almost here, and that means more news from the studio! Today, deleted animation from Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile was released which showcases clips that were cut out of the film. More extras will be released during the weekend, including a production gallery.      Also, after the studio said that they wanted Barry Hollows, director of Zombie: Genesis (check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQW0sGkgqCI), to direct Forest of Fear, the studio sent him a copy of the script to read over and leave feedback on. This is what he had to say:      To the Lego Studios Board of Directors,      I have just finished reading the script for Forest of Fear and I cannot tell enough how much I hate it. There are so many problems with this "story" that I would be here all day listing them all. However, let me be straight to the point and point out the obvious problems. Another Rewrite for 'Forest of Fear?'

By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; August 18, 2010)      After bringing the cast and crew for Forest of Fear home from Georgia, the studio has now released news that yet another rewrite for Forest of Fear has been completed. I just submitted what is now the fourth draft for the film. Let's hope the feedback is positive."      The studio is also looking for a new director to give the film a little chill. "We're hopeful that director Barry Hollows will sign on," said Mark Matthew, head of the Lego Studios Board of Directors and now CEO. "He just finished that project Zombie: Genesi…

'Forest of Fear' Cast and Crew Return from Georgia with Nothing Accomplished!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; August 8, 2010)      Today is one of the most embarrassing days in the studio's history. The cast and crew for Forest of Fear was recalled to the studio with nothing done. "It's a move we had to make," said Mark Matthew. "It was costing us too much to have them over there doing nothing." The filming has been delayed until January 2011.      In the meantime, the museum exhibit tour will be put online around the time the last part for the film is put online. However, it will be a short photo slide show.
