The Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Music YouTube Channel is Now Live!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; January 21, 2014)      Earlier this evening, a brand new and unexpected surprise arrived on YouTube: The Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Music YouTube Channel! This new channel will feature the custom music from Mustache Maniacs Film Co.'s movies, as well as playlists that feature music from elsewhere on YouTube that was sourced for previous Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movies, which has already been done for New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable. "Music can be a very powerful tool," said Steve Brocko, head of Drawn to Life Animation. "Recently, we've been creating our own soundtracks, but we've never had a proper place to showcase them. We hope that, with this new channel, we can attract even more viewers to our films, but through music." As of print, the only thing you'll find on the channel is the soundtrack for New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable, but more will be added in the coming days, inc…

Studio Update: A Cancellation and Possible Delays

By: Andrew Bermudez (LEGO Studios; January 16, 2014)      As "Ten Years of Going Crazy!" makes its start, there is some unfortunate news to announce. "As we were reality-checking our schedule for this year," said Mark Matthew, LEGO Studios CEO, "we realized that there were some projects that would have to be abandoned in order for the remaining projects to be presented at their highest quality." As such, some adjustments had to be made.      We have already announced that Zoo Flight has been cancelled. Joining it today is Com 50 Covert Operations: The Interactive Mission, a game scheduled for release in November. "We realize that we can't do it all," said head of Drawn to Life Animation Steve Brocko. "Because of this, we realized that, between the CGI needed for both Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen and Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients, we don't have the manpower to also undertake this game. There has been talk of con…

All New Ask Mark Matthew!

By: Andrew Bermudez (LEGO Studios; January 1, 2014)      Today we bring you another 'Ask Mark Matthew,' containing 100% new material! Let's get started!

kayley ok writes: Did they take Lois's part out [from Mystery at Shady Acres]?
Mark: Yes. Lois Banks, along with the rest of the English tea garden tour, was cut from Mystery at Shady Acres. The reason is that they were thought to be pointless characters, as they were not even suspects in the crime.

Andrew Johnson writes: Wisdom of the Ancients is a little overdue is it not?
Mark: Not at all! On the contrary, the film is almost here, as it is scheduled to be released on July 18 of this year! Be sure to see it when it comes out!

That's it for today's edition of Ask Mark Matthew! don't forget that if you have a question, send it either as a private message to YouTube user Mustache Maniacs Film Co. or as a message on the "Contact Us" page on the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website. Until then, we'…
