By: Andrew Bermudez (Crazyhouse Comics Studio; January 14, 2011)      To start, here is the answer to the previous comic's challenge, find Amset-Ra's six treasures: In the first panel of the comic, the Golden Headdress, Golden Staff and the Soul Diamond are hanging as ornaments on Johnny's Christmas tree. In the second panel, the Golden Sword runs along the left side of the photo frame and in the photo itself, the Golden Scarab Shield rests against Archibald Hale's leg. In the fourth panel, the Golden Crystal is a window label on a window at Crazyhouse Comics Studio.      In today's comic, there is a new challenge: look for a Series 3 collectible minifigure in today's strip.
Also, The First Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards has been delayed by one week. The main reason for this is to honor a relative I knew very dearly who has just past away. The awards will now debut January 28th, 2011.      And be sure to check back here often, for the new car…

Studio Update: 'When Barrels Fly' is a THAC 8 Finalist and Flash Animations Coming Soon!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; January 11, 2011)      Later this week, a new edition of Tales of the Adventurers will be released, along with the answers to the puzzle in the previous one. Until then, a few news updates from the studio will be detailed.      First, the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. entry for THAC 8, When Barrels Fly, is now one of the twentyfive finalists for that very contest. Update: The previous strips will NOT be enlarged, but can be viewed at a larger size in the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website.
Even though the holidays are behind us, today's Tales of the Adventurers is holiday-themed, with a surprise at the end (I apologize for the delay in releasing this comic). Bonus: Can you find all six of Amset-Ra's treasures from LEGO Pharaoh's Quest in today's comic strip?
As suggested at the end of the strip, a new interactive adventure, based on the newly-released Pharaoh's Quest LEGO sets, will be released in the fall. "This is quite an honor to turn these new products into an interactive story that our fans can enjoy," sai…
