If you don't believe us, read on! Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra Has Been Featured in a Documentary!      Yes, you have read that correctly. Our latest film was featured, alongside many other films, in the documentary The History of Brickfilms: LEGO Studios ! This documentary is actually the latest episode of a docu-series titled The History of Brickfilms , which originally debuted 2 years ago with an episode on brickfilms from the 70's and 80's. This episode, however, is the longest yet at almost an hour long, as it not only covers the LEGO Studios product line, but also the promotions surrounding it, as well as the legacy left behind by the product line, specifically The Steven Spielberg Movie Maker Set! "We are honored to have A Friend of the Police  take this recognition," stated LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. "This continues our long-running acceptance of receiving honors and awards, starting back in 2010." Here is a recap of all of the previous awards and honors received by the studio. By: Andrew Bermudez (College of the Canyons; June 2, 2013)      Last Friday, at the Media Entertainment Arts Showcase, the highly-anticipated film New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable  won the award for best story, propelling the film to stardom prior to its official release this Friday. The showcase, which acted as the film's world premiere, was nearly filled during the first half of the event, which was when New Friends  was shown. Afterwards, Raul Flores and Andrew Bermudez, who created the film, took to the stage to talk about the film's development and the creative process. By: Andrew Bermudez (LEGO Studios; November 11, 2012)      In this midst of Veteran's Day weekend, great news came to the creators of Late for the Soccer Match : the film won second place in the 13+ category in the Bricksinmotion.com contest Kitchen Sink! "It is such an honor to have this film do very well with the judges," said film director Seth Masterson. "When I saw what the competition had created, I knew this was going to be a challenging contest, given the unconventional nature of the films submitted. However, the judges recognized our film and chose it for the position of second place." Even though there were only eight entries, Mark Matthew, CEO of LEGO Studios, would like to say well done to all. Everyone did a great job. In reaction to this development, Lego Studios CEO Mark Matthew stated, "We always strive for the best in storytelling, education, animation, and excitement in our films, and to see one of them used as a demonstration video for a physics class is easily one of our most monumental achievements since the FDNY e-mailed us a compliment for Worcester Cold Storage Warehouse Fire ."
