The Film School Challenge Results, Plus More News!

     After months of challenges, bookended by a series of unfortunate complications, including the removal of video responses for YouTube videos, the high-concept game show contest The Film School Challenge has now come to an end. We would like to congratulate Marcus Hutchinson for winning the grand prize: the part of the Sunglasses Tourist in Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients! In addition, he will also receive a replica of the minifigure used in the film and a DVD copy of Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients after its release next year. Congratulations to Marcus Hutchinson and well done to all of our participants!
     However, the removal of YouTube video responses will change the dynamics for our next contest: Minifigure Character Creation Sweepstakes. "Originally, we were going to have a YouTube contest video, which all of the participants would respond to with their character bio videos," said LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. "However, we were informed by Minilife TV that YouTube has removed the video response feature. Now that video responses no longer exist, we will have to figure out a new way for participants to send their entries. Perhaps we will use the same model that the Nightly News at Nine used for their "Police Show Contest."" This will also effect all of our future contests, especially all of those that will be held for "Ten Years of Going Crazy!"
     In other news, work has slowed down for A Bite of MyJobs and Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients, but that is because a new animation, Sam 'n Bob Brawl: The Second Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards Commercial, is in the works for this month. The good news is that it is almost done, with just some voice work and effects animation that needs to be done. It will be an entry to Minilife TV's new animation contest, with a release by the end of September (maybe this year, we can pull an award and contest win hat trick). If you don't want to wait for the commercial to be released, though, you can vote for your favorites for The Second Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards today!

An Update on "Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear!"

Well, today, we have the answer! Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  is Having a Multi-Part Story Reveal for Two Weeks!      Over the last several months, the project has seen sporadic updates to the back-story of the land, as well as the layout and the characters, the latter of which were just revealed to celebrate Halloween.
