New Adventures and Contests Await During "Ten Years of Going Crazy" as "Summer of Surprises" Ends!

     As our "Summer of Surprises" comes to a close (as does The Film School Challenge), it is time to reveal the ultimate set of surprises: all of the additional contests and promotions during next year's promotion, "Ten Years of Going Crazy!" While there are many films we're making that we're sure you're all excited about, there is a lot more that is going to be going on as part of this special promotion. To see the details of what this will be, read on.

Minifigure Character Creation Sweepstakes: Between an undisclosed date early in 2014 and the end of the same year, the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. fan base will be challenged to create their own minifigure character, with 25 to 50 finalists having their characters appear in a future Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movie! Better yet, the grand prize winner will receive a speaking part for the character they created! Contest rules and other specifications will be revealed at the contest start.

Global Explorations: For the summer of 2014, as a way to promote both Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen and Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients, a brand-new promotion, "Global Explorations," will run from June through August of 2014. The promotion will feature a mini-contest (of the same caliber as the Vacation: Unlimited Scrapbook Contest), exclusive travel journal postings, and more.

Christmas Countdown: Who said we couldn't get into the advent calendar business? From December 1 - 24 of 2014, one new video will be posted each day, counting down to the big day! Please note that Legoettes Take Manhattan will not be part of this series.

Tales of the Adventurers - The End and Beginning: It may be sad for our Johnny Thunder fans, but in response to the increased workload needed for the Legoman comics coming in fall 2014, Tales of the Adventurers will have to be discontinued mid-summer 2014. However, as a treat, these final comics will bridge the pirate treasure adventure and Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients, telling what happens between these two stories.

Announcement of the next major, post-2014, project: As mentioned before, a new film for 2015 will be announced at The Second Mustache Maniacs Fan Choice Awards. However, that film will only be the start of a massive, multi-year project that will be announced soon after. Keep an eye on this press room in January 2014 for more details.
