Happy Birthday to Us! We Have Some Surprises in Store!

    It's officially our 22nd anniversary today, and while we don't have a massive celebration planned, we do have some big things that we want to share with you today!

It's Official: The Fourth Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards Will Debut on May 31, 2026!

    After two years of delays, setbacks, and issues, this long anticipated awards show is finally going to debut on May 31 of this year! We're looking forward to sharing the results from the voting back in 2023, with several fan-favorite films up for major awards! Many of the categories that have existed since the first awards ceremony back in 2011 are returning, along with some news ones, including one for best original song! It's going to be an exciting night, but that's not the only thing that we're looking forward to unveiling.

More Than Just Awards: What is Our Surprise Announcement?

    A while back, several release slots were added to the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Wiki related to upcoming projects, but these are still simply marked as "confidential project." This awards ceremony is going to be our opportunity to finally pull back the curtain to reveal all of the projects that we've been developing internally, including some projects that fans have been requesting for years! While we can't spoil the surprise just yet (because that would mean that it wouldn't be a surprise announcement), we CAN tease the announcement by providing the numbers behind these different projects, just so you can all see how many new projects are in development.

NOTE: This list only counts the projects that are still under wraps, NOT the projects that have already been announced.

As per our release policy, none of these projects will have release dates when they are announced in May. But speaking of the awards show and projects that are finally being completed, ...

Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear Will be Completed on October 31, 2026!

    This has also been a long time coming, but the special project Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear will have all of its visual development completed by this Halloween! Yes, the story is already finished, but that story still needs visuals to accompany it, so we're going to be taking the time to complete this project by creating the following visuals:

  • Complete HowlSpace Experience
  • Howling Hollow Repertory House Exterior
  • Queue Interior for Torgo's Terror Tours
  • Weird Wares Pawn Shop Interior

  • Ghoul Eats Sweet Treats Exterior
  • Entry Archway Key Visual
  • First Torched Windmill Marker Concept

These will be released on a rolling basis throughout the year until Halloween, so we will announce any major new additions between now and then.

When Will BRAWL 2026 Occur?

    That time is almost upon us, and we're just going to give you the long and short answer: we don't know. Whether or not we're going to even participate in BRAWL this year is all going to come down to when it actually occurs, but we're hoping that the competition will occur late June/early July, just as it has in recent years.

Take a First Look at Two New Films Coming in July!

While the details are still under wraps, here is what you can expect in the coming weeks and beyond! Dino Attack: Saga of a Conflict: The Motion Comic  will be Released on July 1!      This all-new film developed by official affiliate PeabodySam will bring the Dino Attack: Saga of a Conflict  comics to life in a brand-new way! Taking inspiration from the motion designs from the experimental animations of Animation Reel , this film will introduce and set up the  Dino Attack RPG  in the same way that the comics do, but now with motion graphics! Wave 1 of Subtitles Have Arrived!

Headquarters; May 18, 2025)     Just in time for Memorial Day, wave 1 of the all-new legacy subtitles have arrived to help the hard of hearing to enjoy our films! Here's all of the details, plus a look at our tentative release schedule for the rest of the year! Wave 1 Subtitles Have Arrived!      To better help our audiences enjoy our films, we launched a new initiative back in January to add subtitles to all of our past films (that is, before the start of Twenty Years Young  in January 2024). Today, we've just added these subtitles to all of our films released from 2020 through 2023, with some gaps left open with the 2024 releases finally being patched up.
