Lost Version of "New Friends" Has Been Discovered!

Recently, during a thorough cataloging of the studio archives, we stumbled upon a previously-lost film reel simply titled "New Friends CFO Edition - Don't Let Director Raul Flores Know!!!". We've analyzed it, digitized the content, and restored the film. Now, we have some big news to share!
New Friends: CFO Edition Has Been Released!
Standing for Chief Financial Officer, this CFO Edition of New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable was commissioned by former LEGO Studios CFO Rawlin N. Dough, who was sacked back in the summer of 2013 for unnecessarily stalling production for A Bite of MyJobs, who argued that the film was a money drain that had no purpose outside of College of the Canyons and threatened to tear up the film's contract (either that, or it had to do with how he was caught embezzling money at the same time).
However, after months of sorting through the last of the studio archives, we have now found this version of the film, which noticeably replaces the film's timeless, classical music score with alt-pop instrumentals, something Raul Flores despised. We have now released this alternative version of this film four your viewing pleasure, which you can find by CLICKING HERE, but be warned: Raul's prediction that this pop music would date the film was spot on.
LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew Places Bulk Order for Aspirin!
On a related note, LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew, who originally signed off on Raul Flores' vision for the film, has said that the datedness of this version of the film has given him a headache. Because of this, he has ordered that anyone at the studio that has seen this version of the film is eligible for free aspirin. "This is the worst headache that I've had since I saw The Recycling Enigma," said Mark Matthew. "Fortunately, I still have plenty of aspirin left over from the original torment of Rap-Trick, so anyone who needs it can talk to me." However, this offer is only eligible for LEGO Studios personnel. April Fools!
Yes, Raul was right about the pop music dating the film, but this was just April Fool's Day striking again! We would like to once again apologize to Raul Flores for this film, since all it did was prove his point. To make amends with him, we are (for real) going to celebrate New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable with a tenth anniversary post here on the press room, which will cover our 2024 Earth Month plans in detail. We Have Two New Canon Updates!
While we are still reviewing the canon for mistakes and issues, there were two questions that were brought to our attention. To answer these questions, were making two updates to the official canon.
- First off, the question of Hidden Characters. Since Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo, we have hidden fun, yet out-of-place, characters in any scenes with a lot of extras in the background. They are fun, but are they canonical? The long and short answer: no. Those are just Easter Eggs and nothing else. So, while Radia may appear in the background of Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo, that is not canonically that character. It's just a gag to look for.
- Second off, what happens in Dimension 1221, after Baron Typhonus destroys the Earth in the short story 12/21/10? The answer: the video titled Discotect, which is by Dailymotion user Jamesster and is now canonical to that universe. Long story short, Baron Typhonus was able to go on and destroy the entire universe and every inhabitant in it. And when you're relishing in the glory of your evil victory, what does that mean? DISCO TIME!
