Due to these difficult times, there will not be an in-person premiere of Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra, but here are some ways to host your own quarantined premiere at home!

Star-Studded Premiere for Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra has been Cancelled!

Due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic, the cast and crew of this highly-anticipated film will not be convening for a typical Hollywood premiere. Instead, since we release all of our films online, the cast and crew is invited to stay at home and watch the film this Friday, April 17! But who said that they can have all of the fun?

Host Your Own, DIY Premiere!
Since most of us are at home these days, it can become hard to find ways to make a truly spectacular premiere. But never fear! There are ways that you can host your own premiere with your own family, with guides below, depending on which theme you choose.

How to Make an Egyptian-Themed Premiere!
Since this film takes place in Egypt, naturally, many will want to go this route to celebrate the film's setting. First, set the mood with some Egyptian-themed music! You can either use the music sample of the film's soundtrack that we've posted to our music YouTube channel, or find a playlist of traditional Egyptian music.
Feel free to play around with decor. Whether you go with suggesting the inside of the Barrel Bar or inside an ancient tomb, dim lighting will work best. Decor can range from images of Egyptian antiquities, hieroglyphics, and small amounts of treasure to statuettes, themed silverware, and more.
For dinner before the film, try to make recreations of authentic Egyptian recipes. Recipes for dishes like Koshary, Goulash with minced beef, rice pudding, and traditional fried fish can be found online, and gathering the ingredients is just a store trip away.

How to Make a Roaring 20's-Themed Premiere!

Of course, this film also takes place in the Roaring 20's, so you could also make your premiere the bee's knees! Go all Art Deco with your decor, as this was the period that popularized that design trend. Everyone could dress up in their fashionable best, with flapper get-ups to boot!
Inviting in the "guests" in with the film's soundtrack sample will work, but why not mix it up with some actual tunes from the Roaring 20's! Playlists abound online, so feel free to pick what works best for your premiere!
Finally, top it all off with 20's food and beverage (but none made DURING the era; we're not liable for food poisoning)! "Bootlegged" alcohol is optional for the legal age group, but this is also the era when restaurant chains began to take root. Feel free to do some research and see how people ate during this time period. After all, a 20's hamburger is NOT going to look like a 50's hamburger! Just no goldfish swallowing, please.

How to Make a Hollywood-Themed Premiere!

Finally, if you want to go all traditional with the Hollywood premiere, get out some glamorous stars, film reels, and more for your decor and turn your home into a homemade movie theater! You can set up a "snack bar" in your kitchen, or go after the model of premium theaters and make your kitchen into a full-bar restaurant, filled with special meals any movie-goer could ask for!
Either way, you should definitely call back to the Golden Age of Hollywood with your decor. Just like the Roaring 20's theme, Art Deco will work here, but also throw in references to the movie-making process. Signs, the film's poster, wall art, the aforementioned stars and film reels, and more will work here. For the background music, mix up the film's original soundtrack sample from our music YouTube channel with other film scores!
For food, popcorn is basically an essential, but why do you have to stop there? Add soda, candy, and other snacks that the audience can eat while viewing the film. If you go with a dinner first, consider premium food that you would find at an upscale theater. Forget hot dogs and hamburgers; go for chicken wings, Cobb salad, and tri-tip steak!

Why Not Mix it Up?
Here's another suggestion that may not pass through many people's minds: combine all three! Look at what you can do to take pieces of all three themes and combine them into a truly unique premiere! The only limit that you have is your imagination!
