Happy New Year! Today we bring you another 'Ask Mark Matthew,' containing 100% new material! Let's get started!

A Mustache Maniacs Film Co. fan writes: hey guys its me again sorry for bothering you guys but will the new alpha team movie be in separated parts or in a full movie and how long is it going to be.
Mark: The movie will be separated into parts, with releases extending into January. The expected running time will be about 50 minutes.

OurToyWorld writes: Since Michael Whalen cannot play Steve Kenlow, I was wondering if this means that Michael Whalen will be leaving the role of Lance Spears. Please clarify. And also, not trying to be mean, yet this article didn't make that much sense.
Mark: For the time being, Michael Whalen is still playing Lance Spears. And if this article didn't make sense to you, that's okay. Most of it is backstage policy changes and corporate decisions that ultimately won't really effect what the audience sees.

Jackmarmar writes: One other question, does this mean I didn't get any of the parts I auditioned for, since it said they hadn't yet been casted.
Mark: Not necessarily. How casting works is that we work in casting rounds, so the final decisions for the round you're in (round 4) will be announced this Sunday. You'll find out which parts you got then.

OurToyWorld writes: What kind of camera does Mustache Maniacs Film Co use for their precise animation?
Mark: Currently, we use the Microsoft Lifecam 1080p. It gives us the best versatility.

OurToyWorld writes: Is there a possibility of seeing Johnny Thunder and Dino Island in A Future In The Past?
Mark: Dino Island will not be part of A Future in the Past, even though we may work with Dino Island in the future.

OurToyWorld writes: Will there ever be another Johnny Thunder film (aside from the Project U film)?
Mark: Currently, we have six planned. Three have already been released, with the fourth one being Johnny Thunder and the Wonders Beneath the Waves. That leaves two more after Project U ends. However, due to confidentiality, we cannot address them.

OurToyWorld writes: Will Mustache Maniacs Film Co start to do more contests with the rapidly growing audience?
Mark: Yes. Later this year, we will be holding a new contest titled The Canon that Time Forgot. Beyond that, we will certainly hold more contests, but we do not have any specific plans for those yet.

Jackmarmar writes: Is this the style of the video, or is it going to be like your other videos?
Mark: Alpha Team: Mission Deep Jungle is stop-motion animation. However, the opening of the film, like the advent calendar, is comprised of motion graphics.

Jesse Shafroth writes: Do you have any plans for a new Johnny Thunder movie? I really liked your previous movies and was wondering if the idea had crossed your mind.
Mark: We are currently working on a fourth Johnny Thunder film, Johnny Thunder and the Wonders Beneath the Waves. It's set to be released March 2018.

Drew Christopherson writes: When is the second part [of Alpha Team: Mission Deep Jungle] coming?
Mark: We are expecting part 2 to be released January 8, though that may change at the last minute.

That's it for today's edition of Ask Mark Matthew! Don't forget that if you have a question, post it where ever we'll be able to see it and respond. Until then, we'll be making movies!
