All New Ask Mark Matthew!

By: Andrew Bermudez
(LEGO Studios; September 1, 2014)
Today we bring you another 'Ask Mark Matthew,' containing 100% new material! Let's get started!

Garrett LeSueur writes: I'm really looking forward to your new Johnny Thunder movie this August! And I definitely can't wait to see Patrick's idiocy get the better of Lord Sam Sinister. And I also have an idea for another movie you could possibly make. Would you like me to tell you what it is?
Mark: Sure thing! You should probably send it as a private message, though. All of us at Mustache Maniacs Film Co. uphold a policy of strict secrecy, so that any ideas are not copied by others pre-maturely.

TLFScarheart writes: How do you turn on the closed captions sorry but no matter how high I turn it up I can't understand what Johnny's father says when he dies.
Mark: Right next to the gear in the lower right-hand corner of the player, there is a little box with the letters "CC" in it. Just press that to turn on the captions.

MinecraftingVW writes: Do I detect a Ms. Frizzle reference [in Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients]? If so, then: "ARNOLD!"
Mark: There are a few pop-culture references in Johnny Thunder 3, but The Magic School Bus is not one of them. It was actually more of a coincidence that James Digalot's last line in the movie is very similar to Arnold's catch-phrase from the said TV show. Still, The Magic School Bus is a good show, especially for the target audience.

TLFScarheart writes: Wow! your Dash actually sounds REALLY similar to my Dash! :P You didn't secretly get Filip to voice him did you?
Mark: Not at all! Our version of Dash Justice is actually voiced by Andrew Adkins, who also plays Steven Sever, among other roles. He'll be reprising his role for Alpha Team: Mission Deep Jungle and the rest of Project U.

Chris Adkins writes: I enjoy the choice of music for Spain it makes me play that scene over and over again ;)
Mark: We're glad that you enjoyed our music! If you want to listen to the music by itself, it's available on our other channel, Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Music.

Garrett LeSueur writes: That... movie... was... AWESOME!! Possibly one of your best work yet. Plus, I have a feeling that this won't be the last Johnny Thunder movie judging by the ending. Am I right?
Mark: You are correct! A fourth Johnny Thunder film, Johnny Thunder and the Glory Beneath Bermuda, will be released in 2018 as part of Project U!
Garrett LeSueur: I have a feeling this has something to do with the infamous legend and curse of the Bermuda Triangle, right?
Mark: Yes. It will have that as part of its story line, but the film is mainly based on the LEGO Aqua Raiders product line. You see, back in 2012, an opinion poll ranked LEGO Aqua Raiders as a top modern LEGO theme. This was strange news to us because, quite frankly, the theme had about as much depth as a mud puddle. However, by adding Adventurers and LEGO Atlantis characters into the film, then integrating it into Project U's LEGO Universe-based story, we feel that we can get more substance out of it. Hope this answers your question, Garrett!

That's it for today's edition of Ask Mark Matthew! Don't forget that if you have a question, send it either as a private message to YouTube user Mustache Maniacs Film Co. or as a message on the "Contact Us" page on the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website. Until then, we'll be making movies!
