There are only just a few days left until the highly-anticipated Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients is released as part of our on-going celebration, "Ten Years of Going Crazy!" To commemorate this special occasion, we would like to give you a list of ten facts about this upcoming film that we're sure you're eager to see.
  1. This film took longer than any other Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movie to produce; from script to screen, it took just over four years to make the film!
  2. The part of the Sunglasses Tourist is played by Marcus Hutchinson, making him the first Mustache Maniacs Film Co. fan to appear in one of our films.
  3. This film's script underwent more changes than any other Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movie.
  4. The actors for Sarah Thunder, Lance Spears, and Dan Brown had to be replaced, as the performers from the previous films were unable to reprise their characters.
  5. This film includes a reference to the multi-film event Project U, which officially started last month with the BRAWL entry Solarum.
  6. This film marks the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. debut for seven performers: An Pham, Michael Whalen, Preston Whalen, Sergio Zavaleta, Leo Bermudez, Ethan Bermudez, and Marcus Hutchinson.
  7. As the script was re-written again and again, a total of ten characters were cut out of the film.
  8. Characters from the LEGO Adventurers Amazon sub-theme were added to the film because director Andrew Bermudez felt that it would be hard to create a decent-length Johnny Thunder film around the said sub-theme.
  9. The film's cable car chase is a concept recycled from a deleted scene from Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo.
  10. This is the first film in the Johnny Thunder Franchise to feature an original music score, which will soon be available on the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Music YouTube Channel.
There are many other facts about this film that we would like to share, but we wouldn't be able to fit them all! There will be much more to come, as the film will finally be released this Friday, with a cast party the following day. We hope you're excited to see this latest adventure!
