Solarum Will Get Its Own Film and Other Project U News!

     As Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients nears its release date of August 22, it's time to look at some news, including a new contest entry! Let's get going!
     First off, an entry to the contest BRAWL 2014 has just been announced! While it is very early in its development stage, it is going to be a filmed centered on the fictitious appliance and green energy company Solarum from New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable. Talking about the matter, director Seth Master said, "for the said film's ending in the Hall of Extinction, a rich and deep back story was developed to tell how the museum ended up the way it did, which will be told in the LEGO Time Cruisers-based film A Future in the Past. One of these elements was the guard's flashlight, which says was made by the company Solarum. It's hard to read in the film, but it's there. Anyway, it was a nice touch that we unfortunately weren't going to develop further, until now. So, the company that was created to decorate a flashlight will now get to tell its own story." At the moment, the film is in the writing process, but because it is a BRAWL 2014 entry, it will be released July 27. The film is also officially going to start the release cycle for Project U.
     Speaking of Project U, that film event's release schedule was recently updated to match an optimal timetable for getting the films released, which will start next week with Solarum and end with Legends of the Universe on October 26, 2020 (the tenth anniversary of LEGO Universe's official launch). While not every film has an exact release date, the schedule now follows as such.

     In other news, editing for Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients continues, getting the film ready for its August 22 debut. For specially-invited guests, there will also be a world premiere that will feature dinner, raffles, and may also feature screenings of Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo and Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile. Well, today, we have the answer!
