Update on the Project U-Build Play Set Adventures

30009: Running of the Bulls
     While Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients chugs towards completion, the promotional Project U-Build Play Set Adventures has received a tweak. Because they are falling behind schedule, the remaining three wave 1 sets, Ruins of the Scorpion Village, Attack on the Nile, and The Battle for Xi'an, will be released at the same time as the wave 2 sets for Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients. In addition to this, the fall wave has been scaled back to only include the two sets based on Attack of the Fifty-Foot Hamster. Now the order of sets will be as follows:
  • 30008: Fish Guardian Attack
  • 30009: Running of the Bulls
  • 30010: Black Church
  • 30011: The Jungle Chase
  • 30012: Escape from the Train
  • 30013: The Chamber of the Hidden Mysteries
  • 30014: Billy's Attic Lab
  • 30015: Attack on Downtown
  • 40000: Collectible Characters Series 1

     In other news, the series 1 characters have been finalized and will be released this fall for the tenth anniversary. The sixteen characters, in no particular order, will be:
  • Central Island Librarian (Com 50-3: Raid on Central Island)
  • Peter Whitman (Late for the Soccer Match)
  • Seth Masterson (Seth Masterson vs. Shark Hoops)
  • Wendy Simmons (A Very Patrick Christmas)
  • Vladnichuk (Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile)
  • Snaggle (Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen)
  • Vita Curtis (Kilroy Was Here!)
  • Shaman of the Mountains (Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo)
  • Baron Von Stuka (Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Leopard's Treasure)
  • Ramses III (Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile)
  • Billy the Kid (Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo)
  • Farmer John (Freddy and Joey in Corn Farm)
  • Willie Swipe (Night Guard)
  • Evil Henchman (Indiana Jones and the Secret of the Leopard's Treasure)
  • The Old Pirate (Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen)
  • Stew LaRoache (Mystery at Shady Acres)
The other series are currently in development, with series 2 being based on LEGO Island: The Animated Series.
     Finally, all of the sets that are based on previous films that were in development have been indefinitely put on hold. This move has been made to further focus on promoting each upcoming film, along with developing the Dino Attack RPG sets. There is also talk about revising the delivery system for these instructions, which may ultimately result in the library page's return to the website.

An Update on "Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear!"

Well, today, we have the answer! Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  is Having a Multi-Part Story Reveal for Two Weeks!      Over the last several months, the project has seen sporadic updates to the back-story of the land, as well as the layout and the characters, the latter of which were just revealed to celebrate Halloween.
