"Summer of Surprises" Officially Begins!

     In a surprise all its own, Mustache Maniacs Film Co.'s latest promotion, "Summer of Surprises," has officially debuted! "We know a lot of people are looking forward to the release of Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients next July," said LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. "So we have been running these promotions, including Vacation: Unlimited, to help our fans stay busy as we finish the movie." In the case of "Summer of Surprises," we'll be releasing several surprise videos, entries to the Vacation: Unlimited Travel Journal, press releases, and more. The only catch is that you won't see it coming! They will all be released without prior notice and very suddenly.      In other news, filming for Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients is progressing smoothly. The crew is almost done with the filming that needs to be done in Zimbabwe, with only the train sequence needing to be finished. From there, the crew will film all of the shots for the airplane, then will head up to Romania for the next few sequences of the movie. "We may have fallen behind schedule for the filming, but we are certain that we will have the film finished in time," said director Steven Lawrence. The film will be released July 2014.
     Back at the studio, animators are getting ready to begin work on LEGO Island: The Animated Series, Freddy and Joey in Corn Farm, and Seeing Eye Robber. "We are very certain that work will begin on these three projects by the end of the month," said Drawn to Life Animation head Steve Brocko. "Animation takes a long time to work on, so we want to get an early start on these projects, even though we still have over a year to go before their release." These three projects will debut fall 2014.

An Update on "Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear!"

Well, today, we have the answer! Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  is Having a Multi-Part Story Reveal for Two Weeks!      Over the last several months, the project has seen sporadic updates to the back-story of the land, as well as the layout and the characters, the latter of which were just revealed to celebrate Halloween.
