Learn How to get a MyJobs Internship at College of the Canyons this Spring!

With the registration for The Film School Challenge behind us, another animated film is now ready to be officially announced! This new animated film will be titled  A Bite of MyJobs and is all about the MyJobs internship program at College of the Canyons! "We are hoping that this animated film will entertain and help students at College of the Canyons understand how this internship program works so they can experience it for themselves," said LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. "For the rest of us who live outside the Santa Clarita Valley and/or don't go to College of the Canyons, we still hope that you will find the film entertaining."
In this film, vampire Dracula has come to the campus after dark to find some victims to quench his thirst. Stumbling upon a career counselor in the CWE office, he heads inside, hoping to suck some blood. Instead, the career counselor lectures him on the benefits of an internship and how to get one through MyJobs. Will Dracula's thirst be quenched, or will the counselor give him an internship? Only time will tell.
Currently, a team of artists, filmmakers, writers, producers, audio engineers, and editors are working under the direction of Andrew Bermudez, director of the Freddy and Joey animations and Space Attack. "We are working hard to make this film look great," he said. "We've been working to make this film as compliant to the client's criteria as possible, yet keep it entertaining for the audience." To give an idea of what to expect, here is a piece of concept art from early development.
Different looks for Dracula and a back view of the counselor are explored in this concept art by Christine Kurt. NOTICE: This is only concept art. As such, characters are subject to change without notice.
Unlike Space Attack, Night Guard, or An Afternoon at the Zoo, this film is going to be directed towards a more realistic style, like Seeing Eye Robber. Just like all of those other films, this one will have the look of traditional animation. "We had the option to go the CGI route that Air Strike took," said director Andrew Bermudez. "However, we went the traditional route because the client wanted the career counselor character to be similar to Honda's now-defunct mascot, Mr. Opportunity. One of the reasons, at least for me, that this particular character read so well was because he was traditionally animated. Had he been created with CGI, I don't think he would have been as effective as a character. Therefore, to create a similar readability in our film, our career counselor has to appear to be hand-drawn." The film will be released on May 31, 2013, marking the end of the semester at College of the Canyons.
In the meantime, more release dates have began to pop up for future films. In the case of films being released before July of this year, exact release dates are confirmed. Without further ado, here they are.

Update: After much consideration, From the Vaults: Indiana Jones and the Egyptian Tomb will not be re-released at this time.
