All New 'Tales of the Adventurers' and What's in Store for 2011

Happy New Year to all of our readers, which brings us to another update. After some notifications that the strips were too small to read, I have made this one larger for your reading convenience. The previous strips will all be enlarged soon.
Update: The previous strips will NOT be enlarged, but can be viewed at a larger size in the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website.
Even though the holidays are behind us, today's Tales of the Adventurers is holiday-themed, with a surprise at the end (I apologize for the delay in releasing this comic). Bonus: Can you find all six of Amset-Ra's treasures from LEGO Pharaoh's Quest in today's comic strip?

As suggested at the end of the strip, a new interactive adventure, based on the newly-released Pharaoh's Quest LEGO sets, will be released in the fall. "This is quite an honor to turn these new products into an interactive story that our fans can enjoy," said James Sturvu, head of the newly-created Lego Studios' division of gaming entertainment. Here is a promotional postcard for this new interactive adventure.

Also coming later this year is a very historical film, which will be made for Bricksinmotion.com's Tales of Yore Contest. Although the historical setting and story is currently undecided, the film will be finished by the end of the spring, at which time it will be submitted for judging. The film won't be released publicly until July 22, 2011 though.
Update: The historical setting has now been decided and will be formally announced at The First Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards on January 21st, 2011.
This November and December, a series of eight animated holiday greeting cards will also be released. This assortment will include both silly and sweet cards and some will feature those sought-after collectible minifigures.
As for other in-development films, Forest of Fear is scheduled for release in October 2011 and Johnny Thunder 3 is expected to come out Summer 2012.

  1. MUCH better with the comic size. Writing is like voice acting: you know what it says so it make sence to you, but make sure the rest of the world can make sence of it too.

    Can't wait for the awards!!!
