Today, the first part in a two-part behind the scenes feature for Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo, Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo Production Gallery debuted. "It was certainly a lot of fun working on the film, and now we can share our experiences with the world," said the film's animal trainer, Seth Corman.
In this new behind the scenes gallery, director and writer Andrew Bermudez and assistant director and co-writer Daniel Bermudez take you through the production of the film. In the process, they reveal several facts, including the effects behind the Aero Nomad/Bi-plane fight, Lord Sinister driving the yellow car, exterior to interior shots and more. They also relate events that happened on the set, such as the Dracula incident, a story about the Yeti costume, and more.
"People are always interested by what they can't see," said boom operator Sarah Williamson. "This new behind the scenes will certainly draw in the fans and reveal how their favorite scene was done. We are also hoping that these behind the scenes will win new fans, too."
This production gallery is only the first part in the behind the scenes series. The second part, Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo Deleted Animation, will be released late March.
