Today, the company, Brick Tales, a sub-division of Mustache Maniacs Film Co. that finances the company's brickfilms, was officially dissolved. Now all brickfilms made by the company will be under the control of Mustache Maniacs Film Co. "It was just shocking to hear. I didn't even know Brick Tales existed," said Simon Johnathan, director of The Adventures of Legoman.
There has been much skepticism as to why Brick Tales was dissolved. At a press conference, Steven Lawrence, Director of Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo, stated, "Mustache Maniacs Film Co. has been hit hard by the economic turmoil, and it only seems wise for the company to get rid of unnecessary expenses, and Brick Tales was the first to go. If the economy gets worse, who knows what'll happen to Mustache Maniacs Film Co. and its other sub-divisions."
Regardless of such, The Adventures of Legoman and Ghost Pictures will be released at their scheduled times, though the trailer for The Adventures of Legoman has been postponed for late February.
