The Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Press Room

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; April 23, 2022)     It's just past Earth Day, and while we've continued our commitment to a green, clean planet, we've discovered where we also need to do a different kind of cleaning up. Here's the latest. Captain D. Rom Films Are Changing Character Ages! Title Card for Captain D. Rom in: The Felony at the Fruit Stand (Canon); ©2014 Rioforce Studios     Like we mentioned earlier this month, Rioforce's Captain D. Rom films were canonized for our cinematic universe as events that take place on LEGO Island from 1978 through today. This, inevitably, led to some additional canon changes, mainly related to character ages, but since we've fully integrated this series into the timeline, we now have a clear picture of what ages need to change. Laura Brick was now born in 1958. Her birthday (June 19) is staying the same. Nick Brick was now born in 1962. His birthday (February 12) is staying the same. On a rel...

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; April 3, 2022)     After Friday's hijinks and irreverence, it's time to take a look at some real news! Here's everything that has been happening this past weekend! The Captain D. Rom  Films Have Been Inducted into the Canon!     Like we mentioned on Friday, even though the entire film library of Rioforce Productions is not canon, we have determined that his Captain D. Rom  series does work in-universe and technically is roped in through both (un)denial  and LEGO Island  (both of which feature the title character). Therefore, here is the official run-down of how each of these films fit into the continuity, including any retcons to make them work in-universe. Captain D. Rom in: Infraction at the Intersection : This film takes place in 1978 before any of the other films in this series (something confirmed by the film itself). While never mentioned in-film, these films all take place ...

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; February 21, 2022)     Today's not much of a news day, but we are changing a few things with our canon, with a special thanks to PeabodySam, who has been working on fixing timeline errors and age problems. Here's a look at what's new! Dimension 201's Timeline: Now More Fleshed Out!     While most of our content exists in a single continuity, our cinematic universe also contains a multiverse, allowing contradictory stories like Com 50: Peril in Iran  and The Drama Zone: Nightmare at Shady Acres  to exist in alternate realities. One of these realities, in case you weren't aware, is titled Dimension 201, which contains many of the early stories found in Crazy Compendium . Not all of them exist in this reality (the poems, for example, are non-canon), but we did this as a fun way to pay tribute to the original stories of Andrew and Daniel Bermudez. However, Daniel's stories were not included in ...
