Headquarters; December 26, 2017)      We've had an incredible 2017, and to end the year, we're taking a look back at everything that happened this year, including the release of four new films (counting our April Fools' Joke)! Following that, we're also going to take a look at 2018 and beyond! Let's get started! January The year kicked off with a brand-new film: New Year's Resolution ! The film introduced the character of Zac Fernstein (who will later appear in B.I.O. Corps ) and shows him overcome his past flaws to make himself a better person. You can watch it right here. January also saw Resolve for Wellness Week (to promote the above film), and the end of the first hiatus for Backstage Showcase . Every production released from January 1, 2018 through September 1, 2019 will feature this version of our logo. This also means that the second trailer will not be released tomorrow as scheduled. While this is going to disappoint many of you, we do have ambitious plans to make this film look great. Let's get started! Scaling Back Shows      The first change is going to be reworking the release schedule for Backstage Showcase . While Studio News  has a monthly release schedule and Art Demonstration Show  episodes are released whenever the potential for a new episode arises, Backstage Showcase  is released bi-weekly. That doesn't seem that taxing in creating new episodes, but with all of our on-going projects, that can really strain our schedule. It's the title treatment for the final Project U film - Legends of the Universe !      As you can see, this title treatment draws heavy inspiration from the LEGO Universe title treatment (since Legends of the Universe  is based on that game). However, this title gives the look more grit, keeping true to the edgier look for Project U. The logo has been overlaid with scratched stainless steel textures to give the look of worn metal, then was overlaid with a picture of a nebula to create more interesting colors, reflecting the film's eclectic cast of characters. The film has no release date (though it will be far into the future), but this title certainly sets the mood for the grand finale for Project U!      In the meantime, the next Project U film, Pharaoh's Quest: The Cur...

It's the poster for the upcoming film Pharaoh's Quest: the Curse of Amset-Ra , and it's sure to get you hyped!      The poster, staying true to the historical accuracy of the film, is modeled after travel posters from the 1920's, but also puts its own spin on the aesthetic. While those posters typically set the scene at eye-level, this poster looks down from above, creating a sense of wonder and awe, taking cues from picturesque paintings of the 1800's. Front and center, however, is a sense of the film's character and atmosphere. A stained paper texture completes the look.       Pharaoh's Quest: the Curse of Amset-Ra  will be released on December 22, 2017, with a new trailer coming October 31, 2017.

Back in January, we introduced custom thumbnails with the show Backstage Showcase , with the intention of expanding this change to our other videos. Now, we've implemented this change for our behind the scenes videos, with all behind the scenes videos now featuring custom thumbnails. Eventually, we're going to add custom thumbnails to all of our videos EXCEPT for unlisted utility videos for the following productions: The Lost Ruby: The Interactive Adventure Shady Acres Super Sleuth Late for the Soccer Match However, the introduction videos for these productions will have custom thumbnails.
