By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; April 7, 2021)     No, we aren't cancelling anything today, but we are looking at some of our current timelines and realize that some of our incoming projects need more time to complete. We also have some contest results to cover, so there's plenty of news to cover! LEGO Ideas Blacksmiths Competition Results      The results are in for LEGO Ideas' competition What If: Blacksmith Brickfilms , and while Without a Blacksmith  did not win any prizes, we would like to congratulate the three winners, which you can see here .   By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; April 1, 2021)     It's April, and today marks the debut of our very first announced project from 2/1/21! Are you ready to bask in this recycled and reused fun? If this film, on the other hand, looks familiar, there's a reason for that. The Recycling Enigma  has been Released!      To start off, we have a brand-new film, titled The Recycling Enigma , ready for your viewing pleasure! This dramatic comedy film is not only filled with surprises galore, it's also the world's first 100% recycled film! If you want to know what that looks like, check out the film right here ! Did That Film Look Familiar? April Fools!      Ha! We got you! While we are right in that this film is 100% recycled, that's only because the film recycles footage from our other films to...kind of make a (somewhat) cohesive film. On top of that, even the music and sound effects were recycled from our other fil...

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; March 12, 2021)     We have some exciting news to share! We have a new film that's just out, another new series that's just been announced, and several other on-going projects that are sailing along for completion later this year! Here's all of the news! Without a Blacksmith  has Emerged from the Foundry!      With just a quick turnaround, Without a Blacksmith  has been released with not a single piece of refined metal to be found (at least in front of the camera). This short and funny alternate history film imagines an encounter in a medieval forest in an alternate reality where blacksmiths, and by extension refined metal, never existed (to a certain extent; see the next section for more information). We've released just the animation to the What If: Blacksmiths competition on LEGO Ideas (the sole reason this film exists), but Mustache Maniacs Film Co. fans get the whole treat, with ...

All of this and more is in today's press release! Without a Blacksmith  is Coming March 12, 2021!     Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if blacksmiths never existed? That's the question posed by LEGO's newest animation contest, and we're entering with our own film, titled Without a Blacksmith ! This film will be our very first alternate history film and will be geared towards children to introduce them to concepts like alternate history and hypothetical thought. Here's the official description. What would the world look like if blacksmiths never existed? This vignette-style film explores a reality where this deviation in history took place and how the knights of the middle ages managed without refined metal! Our brave knigh...
