Studio Update: Ha! April Fools!

April Fools! Did you seriously think that our films are coming to LEGO Dimensions? On the contrary, there's talk that the game may not even have a year 3 (though we're not in on the loop about that one, so we can't say anything for certain). As for the expansion packs featured, those were all faked just for the joke. If you want a behind the scenes look at the prank, just watch the latest episode of Backstage Showcase. We've embedded it below for your convenience.
Moving on to serious business, we are implementing some new branding changes around our network, which we started implementing earlier this week. Mainly, network-wide graphics are being synchronized to a new sense of uniformity. In addition to this, unnecessary blocks of text will be eliminated on the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website, among other things. Here's what else is changing:
  • The styles for the official website, the wiki, the Facebook page, and this press room will be revamped to create true unification across the network. The content will remain the same.
  • Due to a lack of interest, the game Case Files: Shady Acres has been cancelled. All information regarding it will be deleted, and Mr. X's identity will be revealed late May in a canon change. The remainder of the celebration of ten years of Mystery of Shady Acres will continue as usual.
  • All release dates for future projects will be recanted, even if the projects they are associated with are definitely happening. A release date will only be announced for a project when it has reached an advanced state of completion, which can allow for an accurate gauging of a precise release time. The projects themselves will not be affected by this policy change.
  • The new website Andrew Bermudez Art will be loosely integrated into the network. In other words, to maintain a professional ambiance, only select Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movies will be accessible through this linkage.
  • The blog for Andrew Bermudez Art has been revamped to match its host website. Both will link to one another.
  • After some discussion, the "Daniel Bermudez Documentaries" page on the official website will be removed. All other references to the Daniel Bermudez Documentaries films will remain.
  • A trailer for Crazy Compendium will be published tomorrow to garner interest in the book.
All of this is (for real) happening right now, so keep an eye out for these exciting changes coming your way! In addition, keep in mind that we're still working to get both The Third Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards and Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra finished, so there's plenty to be excited about over the coming months!
