"Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear" Has Begun its Debut!

    While we are still hard at work on preparing for Twenty Years Young, we have just debuted the beginning of our first-ever special project, and we hope you're all as excited for this as we are!

Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear Has Launched!

    We've talked about it on-and-off for a few months now, but our first-ever special project, Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear has just launched! This art project will encompass most of 2023 on its own blog site. However, you can expect to hear more about it on our main website, on our YouTube Channels, on the wiki, on Andrew Bermudez Art, and yes, even here on the press room. What is Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear?

    This special project is aimed to re-imagine the setting of the smash-hit animated film Forest of Fear and turn it into a built-out, fully-planned, immersive theme park land, complete with a selection of rides, attractions, shops, restaurants, and more. This project not only covers the land's layout and story, but also its design language, its functionality, its guest flow, and its inspiration. At the heart of all of this is a series of paintings and designs that visualize the land's buildings, attractions, characters, costumes, and more, bringing this story to life.

    Another thing that is really special about this project is that it is 100% canonical to the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe! Every story, character, attraction, shop, restaurant, meal, merchandise item, and more all exist in this larger universe. That will be covered in detail on the project's blog, including how we were able to canonically explain away a roller coaster sitting on the outskirts of town (it wasn't easy, but we did it).

This Special Project Will Conclude on October 31, 2023!

    Of course, being based on Forest of Fear, it was only appropriate that this special project will conclude on Halloween! By then, the entire story of the land and all of its locations will be fully revealed! Then, with the project as a portfolio project, it will be the subject of a reaction video that will be out December 2023! As for when each location will be revealed? We've updated our release calendar to make the story easier to follow, so that it now looks something like this.

Anything that is not listed here from before (such as costumes and details out and about) have simply been lumped into the above topics where appropriate. Once this special project ends, we'll release a video of a full walkthrough of HowlSpace and how it ties into this linear navigation of the land!

Will We Create Any More Special Projects in the Future?

    After this ends, we'll also be just about ready to go for Twenty Years Young, though because of this year's work-load, we are going to have to delay Alms Pouch: Finished At Last! one last time. Details on that project's final release date will be revealed at a later time.

    As for any new special projects in 2024 and beyond? Currently, we have something planned for Twenty Years Young (albeit nowhere near as ambitious as this one is), but we cannot reveal it right now. Beyond that, we are simply going to gauge reactions to this one to see if and how to pursue special projects in the future. For now, sit back, stow any loose articles, and remain seated at all times, because this ride is just getting started!

An Update on "Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear!"

Well, today, we have the answer! Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  is Having a Multi-Part Story Reveal for Two Weeks!      Over the last several months, the project has seen sporadic updates to the back-story of the land, as well as the layout and the characters, the latter of which were just revealed to celebrate Halloween.
