(Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; November 28, 2022)
With just a few weeks left in the year, we have some big project news to share, including the release of a brand-new film!
Speeder Has Been Released!
After several delays, years of development, and spending 5 years as "being canceled," Speeder has finally been released! This remake of the pre-formation era film of the same name updates the old story for the modern day, as well as fleshes out new characters for the cinematic universe! We don't want to slow you down, so you can cut to the chase by either watching the film right here or by visiting the official web page right here!
The Original Soundtrack for Speeder Has Been Released!
As an extra layer of icing on the cake, we've also released the original soundtrack for Speeder, composed by our very own Dylan Johnson! It's a short album of scores, but these humorous tracks will be something that you'll want to rock out to over and over again! Click here to listen to and purchase this album (price is $4.99), with a limited streaming release coming to our music channel at a later time.
Speaking of which, we also have some more new soundtracks that were released today! There isn't much to speak of, but this small collection of tracks will put you right into the mood for the rest of the year! Listed below are all of the new music releases today, including Speeder's original soundtrack, along with availability and set pricing (if any). Click on each title to listen and (where applicable) purchase.
- Speeder ($4.99)
- Alms Pouch ($2.99)
- A Very Patrick Christmas (Legacy) (Streaming Only)
Production to Resume Soon for Camel: The Movie!
With just one month to go until its release, Camel: The Movie is going to finally resume production before December starts! We have plenty of production work to do, but with this film being quick, silly, and short on dialogue, we'll have this film ready to go in no time! We're just about ready to start filming the ending, but before we get to that, we have some important news to share!
You may have heard during the initial launch of Camel: The Album that, when the film is finally released, new songs would be added to the album. Well, now we are ready to announce the new songs coming on December 23, along with which ones will appear in the final film! Below is the NEW track list for Camel: The Album (which will be eliminating the mono mixes, since there are none for the new tracks), with the asterisked songs being the ones selected to appear in the film!
- Bowling for a Camel
- Spit Take
- Desert Delusion
- Camel Globetrotter (NEW)
- And the Camel Goes...
- Camel, Camel (Camel, Camel)*
- Mirage Girls
- Camel 'Round The World (NEW)
- Sand Dune Surfin'
- Camel Rockin' Round The World (NEW)*
- Desert Serenade (Instrumental)*
- Unfinished Song [Demo] (Album Only)
- Bowling for a Camel [Demo] (Album Only)
- Spit Take [Demo] (Album Only)
- Camel 'Round The World (Shatnerized) (NEW) (Album Only)
In addition to this, the album-exclusive lyrics sheet will be updated to include the new songs! More news will come as the release date approaches!
Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear Has its First Teaser and Full Content Reveal!
Just as Halloween has passed, we've just finished up the official teaser poster for Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear! This poster is just a hint of what this special project will deliver next year, but what is Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear? This "special project" as we're calling it is an ambitious art project that will turn the setting of the film Forest of Fear into a fully-functioning, highly immersive theme park land! The land is set in the year 2023, long after Mary and Leo's misadventure in the namesake forest. However, when Mary's don't-travel-there book (read it here) becomes a national best-seller, tourists begin to flock into town, leading to hilarious and spooky encounters with the town's quirky residents! The entire line-up of locations for the land, as well as the layout, have been confirmed, but the fun won't begin until February 1! From there, each location will be revealed one-by-one on the official Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear project blog! We'll be keeping you updated monthly on what's going on over there, but until then, here's the projected schedule for when each location will be fully revealed.
- February: Back Story; Land Overview; Characters; Employee Costumes; Banjo Duels
- March: Bubba's Garden Restaurant; Gas Stop Restrooms; Howling Hollow Repertory House; Fortune Foretold Frosted Flavors; Haunted Outhouse
- April: Chamber of Commerce; The Exciting and Enticing Elixirs of Edmund Éclair the Eighth, Esquire!; Weird Wares Pawn Shop; Poltergeist Popcorn; Fang Fruit Market
- May: Torgo's Terror Tours; Torgo's Travel Supplies; Ghoul Eats Sweet Treats; Out and About Details in Town; Important Landmarks
- June: LycanCoaster; Backyard Boutique; Firehouse Snacks; Plate 'O Mean Vittles; World-Building and History
- July: Hunter Society's Barbecue; Pig Shower Pies; The Forest of Fear; First Torched Windmill Marker
- August: Scary Laboratory; Old Lab Junk; Monster Lab Party
- September: Count Werdna's Funeral Home; Funeral Home Gifts; Out and About Details Forest Edition; Vampire's Vengeance
- October: HowlSpace: The Howling Hollow Messaging App; Conclusion; Full Walkthrough
Alms Pouch: Finished At Last! Will Resume Animation Soon, But Has it Been Delayed Again?
After several stalls and delays, Alms Pouch: Finished At Last! will resume production...in January. This is correct. In order to properly finish Camel: The Movie in time for its December 23 debut, this film is being pushed back to 2023, though we are almost certain that this film will be released next year. While we don't have a release window set in stone yet, we are aiming for a spring debut. Keep checking back for updates regarding this reimagined film!
Lead Out
Happy Thanksgiving! For our American audiences, we hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, but we look forward to seeing how our audience from around the world responds to this brand-new short film!
