Johnny Thunder Goes on Another Adventure for BRAWL 2020!

Johnny Thunder and the Trail of Botnik is Coming June 28!

    Another BRAWL is upon us, and with it brings our next animated film! This film, titled Johnny Thunder and the Trail of Botnik, will follow Johnny Thunder and Pippin Reed Thunder on a Mexican adventure, where they come into friction with younger archaeologists from the museum in this adaption of both the puzzle book The Lost Temple and the LEGO City Jungle Explorers sets. Can they learn to work together and find the legendary treasures that Alex Botnik never recovered? More details will be revealed next week.

DINO ATTACK: Saga of a Conflict has been...Somewhat Delayed

    In light of the need to complete Johnny Thunder and the Trail of Botnik before BRAWL 2020's deadline (we still remember what happened to Clone), the rest of DINO ATTACK: Saga of a Conflict is not going to meet its July 1, 2020 release date. We are, however, aiming to have the remaining three comics finished by the end of this year. We see this as a realistic time frame, as well as a fitting way to commemorate the fifteenth anniversary of the RPG's debut. We are also looking at this as a way to better mesh the director's cut of the RPG proper into the comics, which will now serve the sole function of acting as a prologue for the said rewriting of the RPG.

Problems Facing Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile: Special Edition; Could it be Delayed?

    One thing that is moving smoothly, however, is the re-edit for Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile, or so we thought. In response to Covid-19, we made the decision to modulate the existing audio instead of re-recording all of the film's dialogue. This, however, is causing massive problems regarding the multi-layered audio, which was mixed down to one track before the film's debut in 2010. The original music is going, so that original music can be composed, but this is causing problems with other audio elements. Because of this, the editing team has been given the option to delay this film's July 17 re-release if they need to.

Recent Website Changes: What's New

    Because of the success of updating the website's metadata structure, which is now complete, some new changes came to the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website ahead of June 28. Most notable is the addition of new characters to audition for, but also the addition of a teaser page for Cities That You Must Absolutely, Positively, Stay Out Of to Avoid Being Eaten Alive, a new book inspired by the smash-hit film Forest of Fear. Most of the other changes, however, was mostly along the lines of housekeeping in preparation for the next update coming on June 28, which is when the page for Johnny Thunder and the Trail of Botnik will be added. Because of this, we CAN now enter any contest that Bricks in Motion hosts for the summer, if they host any summer contest at this point.
