(Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; May 30, 2020)
As we approach June 1, the day that many businesses will be permitted to reopen in California's Orange County, we're here to show you where we stand with what's new and what we have coming up soon. Let's get into it!
The Special Edition of The Adventures of Legoman has been Released!
After months of preparation, the special edition of The Adventures of Legoman has arrived! This re-edit of our cult classic will surely give you feelings of nostalgia and fun, as this return takes a look back at the masked crime fighter before A Friend of the Police! You can watch the film via the embedded video below.
DINO ATTACK: Saga of a Conflict Gets Rebooted!
After many years of lying dormant, the comic series DINO ATTACK: Saga of a Conflict was just rebooted with the comics' new direction in mind. Any references to the original intent of the comics was removed, and all of the existing comics were overhauled to look grittier. The remaining three comics will debut later this year, but until then, feel free to read the current comics by visiting this page. Or, you can see the new first page below.
Time to Update the Official Canon Again!
With such a flurry of new content recently, we feel that now is the best time to update the canon again. Here is everything that's new.
- We are greatly indebted to A&W Film Co. and Stabe, Inc. for inspiring us for creating everything that all of you are enjoying today, so as a way to return the favor, the film of theirs that inspired us, Indiana Jones and the Stolen Treasure of the Arabian Knights, is officially entering the canon as events from the year 1932. The use of the title character falls under the same canonical rules as our own original live action films featuring the said title character.
- Just one reality away, Dimension 525, to be exact, PeabodySam's short story Dear Sister is officially entering the canon as events from the year 2008 to the year 2010.
- Back to the main reality, How To Build a Log Cabin is entering the canon as events from May 2020.
- And on that note, DINO ATTACK: Saga of a Conflict is being re-canonized as a historical record retrieved in 2020 in Dimension 418 and created in 2011 in Dimension 525 by Andrew Anderson. According to the existing canon, due to time misalignment, both years are happening concurrently.
Ever since the release of the smash-hit film Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra, there has been some murmurings among our fans about a possible sequel. This was a question that was brought to the film's director, Seth Masterson, who responded with the following quote.
I don't know how much I should say on this matter, but even before Pharaoh's Quest was released, we were already speculating on what a sequel would entail, especially since this film tells the entire story of the LEGO sets. Well, with the film now out and being the hit that we wanted it to be, we have seriously looked into the possibility of a sequel. But, like I just said, we already finished the story of the source material, so we've been looking at what to do with Jake and company. He must be a legend now, with him and his team saving the world, so where do we go from there? We've looked at historical events to frame the sequel and have one picked out, though I'm not at liberty to say when we've picked. Also, Amset-Ra sleeps once again, at least until 2020 to terrorize Hiram Aziz, so we've got to work that supernatural angle into the sequel without arbitrarily bringing back Amset-Ra. To answer your question, yes. We are working on a sequel. However, we're at such an early stage of development, we can't really announce anything yet, so don't expect to hear anything about this project for at least a year.
If the fans are looking to tide themselves over, however, we have plenty of adventure content to check out, as well as the upcoming origin story film, Patrick: The Movie, which contains a surprise connection to Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra!
After months of consideration, we have looked at our remaining re-releases and have decided that, in the best interest of quality, Alms Pouch will be completely remade instead of just being finished. "I've wanted to see how our fans feel about our traditional animations," said Drawn to Life Animation head Steve Brocko, "and the best way to accurately gauge that is to put our best foot forward. The current animation for Alms Pouch is not our best foot forward, so to speak, so we're remaking the film to give our audience the best animation experience that we can deliver." Currently, the only element that is expected to be carried over from the original film is Ferdinand Andrew Capitulo's original score. This remake is expected to be released later this year.
BRAWL 2020 Coming June 20, 2020!

Lead Out
That's all that we have for today! Don't forget to look out for more news, as we'll be looking at all of our upcoming projects for this year next month!
