"Pharaoh's Quest" Delayed to July 27! Our Brawl Entry is Coming July 15!

     Today, we have announced the final delay in the release of Pharaoh's Quest: the Curse of Amset-Ra. This, along with BRAWL, website, Poster Madness, and more are all here today!

"Pharaoh's Quest" Delayed to July 27!

     We had pondered the possibility of delaying this film that has fallen behind schedule again, but today, it is official: the release of Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra has been pushed off to July 27. "It's just that the film's not ready yet," said Mark Matthew, LEGO Studios CEO. "For some time, it looked like May 25 was a realistic date, but the unplanned website overhaul threw a wrench into our plans. Now, I shouldn't really say this in case something else crops up, but we believe that July 27 is a realistic date to release this film." To reflect this change, the official poster has been updated with the new release date.

In the meantime, a final trailer with the current release date will be released in June. Speaking of June...

New Website Goes Live June 1!

     You read that right: we're ahead of schedule for the brand-new website, which means that you'll be seeing it far sooner than we initially planned! Both the original website and the new website will coexist for roughly one week to confirm that all of the needed information has been carried over, then the old website will go offline June 11.      However, just because the website will be live June 1 doesn't mean that it's complete. There's plenty of films that will not be accessible during the website's first few months of existence (Wonders of Buoyancy, Plankton Strikes Back!, and Remember the Alamo, to name a few). However, hidden pages do exist for these films, and as more posters are created as part of Poster Madness, these pages will become accessible. Speaking of which...

"Air Strike" Poster for Poster Madness!

     We have a brand-new poster for Poster Madness, and while not many people remember this film, this poster for the short film Air Strike is striking nonetheless!

Capturing the conflict between the American bomber and the Cal Pada fighter (the film takes place during the finale for Com 50 and 007), the colors of the aircraft really pop against the black background, as does the title. This poster is fairly minimalist (as it is an old project), but does give the essence of the film. Just like any poster for any of our films, this poster is now on the new website as a button to the film's web page.

BRAWL Entry Coming July 15!

     While it missed the deadline by 1 hour, our BRAWL 2017 Entry Clone was highly praised for its innovative storytelling and state-of-the-art visuals. Today, we are pleased to announce that our currently-unnamed BRAWL 2018 entry is coming July 15!

Coincidentally, just as we're celebrating the 10th anniversary of our online network, BRAWL is also celebrating its 10th anniversary with a special competition! As per the usual BRAWL rules, we won't know exactly what our film will be about until after the contest has started, so keep checking back for more BRAWL 2018 news! What we can say is that, like Clone, we will use this time to introduce a new character. Again, who that will be depends on the contest theme. But BRAWL 2018 isn't the only competition coming up.

Tales of the Desert Competition Coming June 8!

     Just one week after our new website goes online, we're launching a new story contest titled Tales of the Desert, where you are challenged to tell a story set in any desert around the world! You can either use pre-existing Mustache Maniacs Film Co. characters, or make up your own! The winner will receive a Pharaoh's Quest: the Curse of Amset-Ra prize package, as well as have their story inducted into the official cinematic universe! Full rules will be announced at the contest start on June 8.
