(Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; April 18, 2018)
It's our 14th anniversary, and to celebrate, we have some new updates that we would like to share! Let's get started!
The Adventures of Legoman Special Edition has been Delayed!
We've been having trouble finding actors to replace many of the roles in this film, and because of that, we will not be re-releasing the film on April 27 as originally planned. Instead, we are looking at a fall release. We'll announce the exact date in late summer. In the meantime, all of our other scheduled releases are right on schedule.
Updates to the Official Canon!
This is basically a monthly occurrence by now, but we're tweaking more canon, mainly to introduce new stories and flesh out the world. We're even - this may sound weird - introducing another dimension! We would like to thank PeabodySam for helping with some of these changes. So, here is what is new:
- It was already confirmed in 2015 that there are more realities than just the main two in the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe, with the total number being essentially infinite. Now, we would like to introduce another universe: Dimension 8231, or the Antiverse. This universe is mostly part of the story of the already-canonized DINO Attack RPG, and contains events that not only connect to that story, but also to far future plans. We cannot say any more on said plans.
- Going hand-in-hand with this canon change, all of the short stories that were written to compliment the DINO Attack RPG are now canon events in the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe. They all (obviously) take place in Dimension 525 (though Antithesis interacts with Dimension 8231), and their exact time frame can be found by consulting the Official Cinematic Universe page on our wiki.
- To wrap up this talk of alternate universes and the like, contributors to the cinematic universe, rejoice! The primary universe where many of Mustache Maniacs Film Co.'s movies take place now has its own name! It is now officially titled Dimension 418 (at least to those living outside said dimension).
- Getting back to (our) reality, Dr. Charles Kilroy is now officially British. He is not related to Johnny Thunder (unlike in the source material), but is his close mentor, as he and Daniel Thunder were very close (which has already been established). His first cousin, Private Joe Kilroy, is technically American, however.
- Also, Ogel used to be in love with Radia while she was in college. She was naturally bothered by this (he is, after all, older than she is), and she never requited his attention. This is what started him down his road to villainy. However, it was his ousting of New Silicon Systems (mentioned in Alpha Team: Mission Deep Jungle) that ultimately sent him over the edge and made him into Evil Ogel.
- In New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable, it is revealed that Papa Dodo's taxidermy corpse is on display in the far future in the Hall of Extinction. But where is it now? Officially, after some mishaps, it is currently in the storage warehouse of the LEGO City Museum. It's not on display because no one knows it's there.
That is a lot to cover for canon updates, but stay tuned, as we will fine-tune the canon some more in the future!
Apologies for a Lack of Content.
However, you may have noticed that we haven't been uploading videos or creating new content lately. We apologize for the lack of new content, and with Spring Break over, we will get back to work on our films and more! In fact, we have some new content coming, just for our 14th anniversary!
"Secret of Marco Polo" Remake gets in on the Redesign Business!
If that's not enough, here's a concept painting, showing the brand-new setting for the Scorpion Palace, realizing concepts imagined but never executed for the first time around.

This remake is expected to be released after the conclusion of Digital Decade in September 2019.
Lead-Out
And happy birthday to us! Can you believe that we're already 14 years old!?! I cannot thank the fan base enough for making us into what we are today, with movies, books, short films, comics, and more! Here's to hoping that we have an even greater future!
