Today marks the beginning of BRAWL 2017, and that means that we are pleased to announce our own entry into this contest, complete with a finished title treatment!
Just like we promised last week, this film will introduce a brand-new character into our cinematic universe! This time, the character is Mark Walker, one of the eventual main characters from the upcoming film B.I.O. Corps, and this film will cover how he gets into the life that he leads before his next appearance and what happens to make him into the person that he is in his upcoming roles. Here is the official description.
Meet Mark Walker, a college jock from Billings, Montana who has just been accepted into the police academy in Juneau, Alaska! However, before he even packs his bags, a freak accident clones him into two people! What happens next will change his life forever!Filming is set to be conducted tomorrow, followed by hasty post-production for the remainder of the week. The film is set to be released one week after the contest ends, July 7. However, bricksinmotion.com members and Facebook fans will be able to watch it early.
In the meantime, we have just opened auditions for the film's cast of characters, which also debuts our new style of audition sheets. Here are all of the characters that are currently open for auditions.
Before you ask, yes. The person playing Mark Walker not only has to also play his clone, he also has to come back to reprise his role for the future. We apologize to any female readers, but we do not have any female parts available for this film. As with many of our open roles, all of these characters are nationality-neutral.
Update 6/28/2017: All four of these roles are now closed. We'll soon be sending out information for more casting opportunities!
We hope that you are as excited about this film as we are! To help alleviate the long wait, we'll announce the release dates for our remaining 2017 films next Sunday, including the hotly-awaited Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra.
