Today we bring you another 'Ask Mark Matthew,' containing 100% new material! Let's get started!
TIM Stickland writes: dont suppose you guys are interested in a lego batman style movies?
Mark: I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but if you are referring to the animation style of "The LEGO Batman Movie," we are moving in that direction with our future films. Our films probably won't mirror that style exactly, but we still want to create films with larger sets, better effects, and more expressive acting going forward. Hope this answers your question!
TIM Stickland: i just ment films with batman in or focused on batman 😁 i seen other youtubers do some but not the same quality as you guys.......
Mark: We prefer not to feature licensed characters (with the exception of LEGO's own characters) in our films, as we consider that selling out our creativity in the name of viewership. We have characters that are similar to licensed characters (ex. Legoman is similar to Batman), but we typically stick to our own characters and stories.
TIM Stickland: ok cool thats understandable 👍 r there any more Johnny thunder movies in works atm?
Mark: We are currently working on the Project U film Johnny Thunder and the Wonders Beneath the Waves. We have no release date yet, but the first teaser will be released at The Third Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards later this summer.

Mark: While we were editing Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients, we had just migrated to the Adobe Creative Suite the previous year, so we weren't that accustomed to the new software yet. One thing that we discovered is that exported files from Adobe After Effects are gigantic (usually several gigabytes in size) and they have to be compressed to be edited further in Adobe Premiere Pro. While compression didn't affect the image quality, the audio quality took a turn for the worse during this process. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that this had happened until it was too late. Because of this, we now export video and audio from After Effects separately before compressing for further editing.
That's it for today's edition of Ask Mark Matthew! Don't forget that if you have a question, post it where ever we'll be able to see it and respond. Until then, we'll be making movies!
