Studio Update: Preparing for This Halloween and Next Halloween!

(Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; October 24, 2016)
With Halloween around the corner, we would like to share a new update. Let's get started!
First off, the end of round 6 of auditions ends on November 30, with a guarantee that all of the characters being introduced with The Third Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards have actors attached to them. In order to get these parts filled, we will be posting casting calls to both Bricks in Motion and the Casting Call Club right before Halloween.
In other news, a new wiki page, Baron Von Stuka Jr., was published today for your enjoyment. Look at it by clicking here. With this page comes new official canon changes that directly connect our Indiana Jones fan films to A Future in the Past, among other things. Here's what's new:

  • The Indiana Jones, Marcus Brody, Henry Jones Sr., Dracula, 007, and Godzilla that appear in films that are part of the official canon are NOT the same characters that appear in their source material. Instead, they are identically-named characters that share many of the source material characters' traits and appearances. In the official canon, these characters also exist as the fictional characters that we know them as today.
  • In the German house of Von Stuka, the iconic giant mustache is considered an emblem of honor, and to shave it off is to disgrace the family. The brother of Baron Von Stuka, Vikki Von Stuka, has three children: Shaved Schmidt Von Stuka, Baron Von Stuka Jr., and Baron Von Stuka III. What alienates Schmidt (who appears at the end of Indiana Jones and the Egyptian Tomb) from the title of baron is the fact that he shaved off his mustache. However, his son, Baron Von Stuka IV (who will appear in the Project U film A Future in the Past), let his mustache grow out, allowing him to assume the title of baron. He never marries, and dies in the Battle of Monte Cassino, ending the Von Stuka line (Baron Von Stuka III dies in a plane accident during Luftwaffe training).
  • Why this hasn't been done yet is anyone's guess, but the Citrus Pass Memorial Zoo and World Compass Travel Guides, including author Blake Greenton, (this is all from some Typography assignments) are now part of the official canon.
These canon changes bring about some new possibilities for our cinematic universe, and while you may not see more about the house of Von Stuka, there are certainly more canon details that we will be filling in the future!
Speaking of this new wiki page, instead of releasing a new villain wiki page next Monday, we're going to celebrate Halloween by selecting the fans' picks for our top ten Mustache Maniacs Film Co. villains! Voting is on the right side of this press room as usual, and it will only cover main villains from movies that we've released online. No henchmen will therefore be part of this vote. Voting will conclude on Sunday, and the full video will be released on Halloween!
Right before then, on October 28, 2016, we'll be releasing a picture story that will be ideal for Halloween, Special Delivery! It is currently going through post production, with timing and sound effects in need of being added. Until then, here's a screenshot.
However, our big news is to celebrate this month's anniversary! It's been five years since Forest of Fear was released, and to celebrate, we're announcing something new that we're going to be introducing in 2017: in-universe books! That's right! For your reading pleasure, Mary Rawlins' in-universe book Cities that You Must Absolutely, Positively, Stay Out of to Avoid Being Eaten Alive will be released October 2017! Written to match Forest of Fear's humor and writing, the book will be written as if Mary Rawlins penned the guide herself! It'll feature her impressions of Howling Hollow (the only city in the book), the movie's different characters, and the surrounding environment. Teasers will be released throughout next year.
Speaking of teasers, here's another image from recent filming for Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra. It's been delayed into 2017, but don't worry, as this film is sure to be great!
Now that all of that's done, it's time for our plugs with links. Click on the sentence for more info. SIGN UP FOR AUDITIONS TODAY!
