Happy 12 Years to Us!

It's our 12th birthday, and we have some things to unveil to celebrate! It's all related to our upcoming film Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra, so it's going to be great! Let's get started!
First, because today is Monday, we've posted a new Wiki Mondays: Time Warp article. This one is for Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra, and while it is incomplete due to confidentiality, it still has some new information worth reading. Click here to read it for yourself.
Also today we have not one, but two photos to share from the film. The first is the film's title treatment, made from a composite of the typefaces Centaur Bold and Akzidenz Grotesk. The homages to the original theme's title treatment are very evident in this re-interpretation.
The second is an actual screenshot from the on-going filming for the movie, which started last week. As you can see in this film, it is Archibald and Helena, rather than Jake and Helena, that go to the Cursed Cobra Statue.
And, while we may have said that the film will debut on May 27, we unfortunately will not be able to release the film that day. The new release date (subject to change) is August 19, 2016.
Recently, we also updated the official canon in order to fit Rift into the continuity of events. Here's the new canon information.
- Rift takes place in 2007, right before the events of Com 50-3: Raid on Central Island. The disc that Wallace Bishop retrieves at the end of Rift is then stolen by a Cuban smuggling ring working for the Illuminati (in order to cover up new technologies), who then loses the information to Com 50 in Com 50-3: Raid on Central Island. Wallace Bishop, with his information now in the hands of the CIA, then has no choice but to sign Dr. Leinad Laboratories up for a government contract to continue his work.
As always, we'll continue updating the canon, especially after the results for The Canon That Time Forgot contest come in.
In other news, work has stalled on the additional behind the scenes content, but should be done by the end of May, with content specific to Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen being released in June ahead of its June 17 re-release. Until then, keep checking back for more news and updates for all of our content!
