Studio Update: It's Our 11th Birthday!

(Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; April 18, 2015)
Today is our 11th birthday, and while this celebration is nowhere near as extensive as last year's, we're still doing a few things this weekend to celebrate! Let's get started!
First off, we would like to mention that we're introducing some new canon into the Mustache Maniacs Cinematic Universe! It's not much, but it will add more layers of complexity to this created universe. For your convenience, here is the canon change-log:
- The three members of the Rude Family from An Afternoon at the Zoo now have legal names. The Rude Dad is named Tom, the Rude Mom is named Ruth-Belle, and the Rude Boy is named Blarb. All three have the last name of Hilgome. For the record, the chimpanzees still have no names.
- Com 50: Peril in Iran is returning to the official canon! However, it should be noted that the film now takes place in Dimension 525 (the alternate dimension that DINO Attack: Saga of a Conflict takes place in).
- Even though Black Friday was never released, and therefore its story never officially happened in this cinematic universe, the store that was going to appear in that film, Amenity Warehouse, is now a canon location in LEGO City.
In other news, it's looking hopeful that all of our fan videos will be archived on DVD as part of our DVD Archival Project, but we still need your input! If you have not voted yet in our poll, be sure to do so! You can find it in the column on the right side of this page. Just scroll down until you find it.
We would like to mention that we are almost ready to kick off our summer contest, The Quest for Canonization! We are still ironing out the rules, but we now have an official start date: May 21, 2015! So get your stories, you cameras, and your imaginations ready, as you'll not only be competing for a place in official canon, but for other fun prizes as well! We'll see you then!
It also just so happens that May 21 is the tenth anniversary of the Cornerstone Thespian Society's performance of Kilroy Was Here! To celebrate this special anniversary, we're going to make May Kilroy Was Here! month! While we do not have plans at the moment to re-release the film version online, we will be delivering other Kilroy Was Here!-related content, including a brand-new theatrical poster! We'll also be creating and posting a recipe for a brand-new specialty drink, the Homefront Victory Smoothie (similar to what would have been served in Kilroy Was Here!'s U.S.O. setting). In addition to this, we'll officially unveil the designs for the re-imagined minifigure versions of Private Joe Kilroy, Private Carl Ryder, and Private Leo Pickford for the animated film A Future in the Past, along with Baron Von Stuka IV with his German troops. During this month, the last few new wiki pages for Wiki Mondays (which ends May 18) will be devoted exclusively to Kilroy Was Here!. Who knows? If we find some test footage from the play, we might upload some of that, too.
While that is prepared, we're also working to get Alms Pouch, Alpha Team: Mission Deep Jungle, and LEGO Island: The Animated Series out on time. However, for that last one, we now have plans to make them short comedy sketch pieces, about two minutes each. That way, more emphasis can be placed on the animation, rather than making the series a talking heads series. But guess what? Recently, we started production on Alpha Team: Operation Deep City! We haven't gotten far, but it's another milestone to get Project U done on time.
And that just about wraps up this update. Stay tuned for another Out of His Time comic tomorrow and another Wiki Mondays page on Monday! Before we go, though, we would like to remind you to audition for our films by using our brand-new picture-heavy audition sheet! SIGN UP FOR AUDITIONS TODAY!
