Animatics "Freddy and Joey in Corn Farm" and "Seeing Eye Robber" will be Animated in 2014!

After the shocking news to revive Legoman, an equally-shocking new announcement was made today to commemorate Mustache Maniacs Film Co's ninth birthday: both the animatics Freddy and Joey in Corn Farm and Seeing Eye Robber will be released as fully-animated cartoons in 2014 as part of "Ten Years of Going Crazy!" "I had thrown the idea around for about a few months now," said Andrew Bermudez, who created the original two animatics. "They're well-drawn and their stories are clear, but by only having them as animatics, they lose something. I hope that, by animating these two short films, I can give them more respect." This also ties into the concept of reviving past Mustache Maniacs Film Co. films in 2014, including possible, but not yet confirmed, 3-D re-releases of the two Cornerstone Thespian Society plays Kilroy Was Here! and Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen.
However, these two animations are only just a few of the releases for "Ten Years of Going Crazy!", which the highly-anticipated Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients will be a part of. "We have some other ideas," said LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. "But we haven't really set anything in stone yet. One person suggested that we remake some of the lost films from 2002-2003, but would modern audiences want to see updated versions of old films like Speeder, Bank Heist, and Legoettes Take Manhattan? Then again, Universal announced this morning that they're remaking Weird Science, so why not?" By this summer, all of the promotion "Ten Years of Going Crazy!" should be set out. Both short animations are slated to be released fall 2014, among other releases.
