Studio Update: Final Push for "Gone Ice Fishin'" and "Guard Dog"

May has just started, which brings several new things, including the start of the summer movie season, the end of the school year, and another studio update! Let's get started!
Here at the studio, the month of May also brings a sense of realization: that the two June 1st releases, Gone Ice Fishin' and Guard Dog only have one month to be completed, but are nowhere near done. "Despite this concern, we are fully confident that we will have both films done by their release date. After all, this happened to An Afternoon at the Zoo," said Steve Brocko, head of the traditional animation department.
However, Mark Matthew does not share Steve's confidence, and has decided to take action. "We need to get these two films done before their release date, so I've decided to halt all of our other projects for this month. The next Tales of the Adventurers, which is almost done, will be finished and released soon. Then the next comic will be halted for this month as well." The plan is that, as soon as the two aforementioned films are released, then work will resume on the currently-halted projects.
But what does this mean for From the Vaults: Com 50 and 007 (2004), which was supposed to be re-released this month? Sam Snead, had of the studio's marketing and public relations, gave us the answer. "We are almost done with this re-release that took too long to prep up. However, we haven't even begun on it's new music soundtrack, forcing us to delay it into July. In the meantime, though, From the Vaults: Shootout! (2007) has returned to its original May 11th re-release date. This short will be prepped this weekend and re-released on its scheduled date, making it the only project not to be halted this month."
As soon as Gone Ice Fishin' and Guard Dog are released on June 1st, work on other projects will resume. Zoo Flight will wind its way in this July, Mystery at Shady Acres will return August 17th, and Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients will be discovered Summer 2014.
