After the announced delay of the "Patrick's Adventures" comic, the studio has been receiving complaints that they want the comic as soon as possible. "However," stated Mark Matthew, head of the studio's board of directors, "we don't have the time right now to make it. The same thing happened to Ghost Pictures, Captain Redbeard's Lost Gold, Black Friday, and the short commercials. I think we got a little too far ahead of ourselves this year. Regardless, the comic will debut Fall 2010."
Despite this, Steven Lawrence, the director for Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile, announced that he has good news for the fans. "TBC, the TV station that agreed to promote our film during their holiday special, has gotten official permission to visit with Patrick at his parents' house for Christmas." It is currently not known what will happen, but what we do know is that we will get to meet Patrick's parents and see where they live and how they decorate for Christmas.
Also, TBC has been allowed to visit the set for Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile. "I know we don't normally allow the media onto the set, but we made the exception for TBC because they not only promised to keep quiet during the filming, but the added publicity will do the movie good," said Johnny Thunder, the star of the film. Wendy Simons, the reporter that will visit the set, added, "Besides the now-closed tram tour at Lego Studios, I've never been on a real-working movie set before. This will truly be an exciting experience for me."
Keep your eyes open! The special is said to debut Mid-December!
