Let's take a look at what's new, what's coming up, and more! New Website Features!      Earlier this month, we announced that our official website would be overhauled to become more like a streaming service, just with a larger variety of content, including books, comics, and more. Well, we glad to announce that this overhaul is complete! We've cleaned up everything visually, and unified that website's look, among other things! Here's everything new and worth checking out. Every page regarding an individual product of ours has been updated with a dark blue column to fix all legibility issues. We weren't able to post our annual year in review last year due to our move to the new studio, but we do have something to compensate: a decade in review! We don't want to make this too long, but we want to take a look at where we've come from and where we're going from here. Let's get started! 2010 - 2013: Years of Growth      After 2009 was mired with the somewhat-failure of The Adventures of Legoman  (it has developed somewhat of a cult following), 2010 resurrected us from that failure with the release of Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile . With the release of that film came the announcement that a third film , Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients , would be released in 2014 for our tenth anniversary. Sobek-Ra Redesign Finalized!      Remember how in March we mentioned that the obscure LEGO Pharaoh's Quest character of Sobek-Ra was being redesigned for Patrick: The Movie ? Well, we are pleased to announce that his redesign has now been finalized with a concept painting of the character!      No longer an embarrassing paper box with wings, Sobek-Ra now has the look to stand beside any of Amset-Ra's living statues! Most of his body is modeled after a Nile Crocodile, but keeping in tune with the living statue motif from Pharaoh's Quest, now sports a pair of hawk wings and a pair of ant-lion larva pincers! We're scaling back on some things and revising many of our future projects. Here's what going on right now! Re-Evaluating Project U's Films      No, we're not going to cancel Project U, but we are revisiting the scripts that we have ready for these films for major revisions! "With the release of films such as Ocean of Fear  and The Pen , many of these films for Project U no longer work in the cinematic universe," said director Seth Masterson. "By revising these scripts, we can make their stories work again, but we're also taking a good look at them. Headquarters; August 9, 2019)      Today, we are sad to say that Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra  has been delayed to a later date this year, among other news. Here's the entire break-down. "Pharaoh's Quest" Delayed to Later this Year!      While we felt back in the Spring that we could finish Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra  by today, we have fallen behind with completing the editing for the film for today. Because of this, the film has been delayed to an undetermined date later this year. While this does mean that we will miss our summer target time frame, it does mean that the entire film will now be released simultaneously. More news will be announced at a later time. Experience the Adventure on August 9!      As we have previously announced, Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra  will be released on August 9 as a way to conclude the summer season! This adventure tells the tale of Jake Raines, Archibald Hale, Mac McCloud, and Helena Skvalling as they set out to defy the curse of Amset-Ra. Also featured is the story of Amset-Ra and an almost authentic recreation of the historic Battle of Beersheba. There is, however, one important piece of news that we must share. "The Pen" Delayed to July 12!      Even though filming concluded a little while back, we were unable to get the special effects for the film finished and working in time. Therefore, The Pen  is being delayed to its guaranteed final release date: July 12. "We want this film to look its absolute best," said LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. "Because of this, The Pen  will need some more time for our effects team to work out the issues with the film. You will be able to enjoy this unique film on July 12."
