Studio Update: A Cancellation and Possible Delays

By: Andrew Bermudez (LEGO Studios; January 16, 2014)      As "Ten Years of Going Crazy!" makes its start, there is some unfortunate news to announce. "As we were reality-checking our schedule for this year," said Mark Matthew, LEGO Studios CEO, "we realized that there were some projects that would have to be abandoned in order for the remaining projects to be presented at their highest quality." As such, some adjustments had to be made.      We have already announced that Zoo Flight has been cancelled. Joining it today is Com 50 Covert Operations: The Interactive Mission, a game scheduled for release in November . "We realize that we can't do it all," said head of Drawn to Life Animation Steve Brocko. "Because of this, we realized that, between the CGI needed for both Jolly Roger and the Pirate Queen and Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients , we don't have the manpower to also undertake this game. There has been tal...

Let's get started! kayley ok writes: Did they take Lois's part out [from Mystery at Shady Acres ]? Mark: Yes. Lois Banks, along with the rest of the English tea garden tour, was cut from Mystery at Shady Acres . The reason is that they were thought to be pointless characters, as they were not even suspects in the crime. Andrew Johnson writes: Wisdom of the Ancients is a little overdue is it not? Mark: Not at all! On the contrary, the film is almost here, as it is scheduled to be released on July 18 of this year! Be sure to see it when it comes out!      That's it for today's edition of Ask Mark Matthew! don't forget that if you have a question, send it either as a private message to YouTube user Mustache Maniacs Film Co. or as a message on the "Contact Us" page on the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. website. The Year in Review: 2013

By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; December 26, 2013)      Looking back at the past 12 months, 2013 certainly has been a drastic year for Mustache Maniacs Film Co. In just those 12 months, closed-captions, mouth animation, advanced effects and animation, the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Wiki, and more were introduced into Mustache Maniacs Film Co.'s resources, along with the needed preparation for "Ten Years of Going Crazy" and beyond. Now that the year is almost over, here is a look back at all of the activity that occurred at Mustache Maniacs Film Co. over the past year.      January: January kicked off with both the Tales of the Adventurers story Danger In Mariner's Cave and the film Animation Reel 2 , a sequel to Animation Reel . The notable thing about this reel is that it featured, for the first time, the new Mustache Maniacs Film Co. logo, designed to work with HD videos. Besides that, work progressed on New F...

All Multi-Part Films Will Now be Named Per Part!

By: Andrew Bermudez (LEGO Studios; December 19, 2013)      Just this morning, LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew just announced a new minor change that is being implemented in anticipation of "Ten Years of Going Crazy!": in the case of all multi-part films, each part will now named with a distinctive name. For clarity's sake, this is what this means: for every video that is part of a multi-part film, a name that relates to that part will be appended to the end of that name. Each name will also be adjusted to tell how many total parts the film has. "We've had people ask where the next part is when there isn't any next part in reality," said Mark Matthew. "We hope that, by making this minor change, we can end this confusion, allowing our fans and viewers to fully enjoy our films." A Very Patrick Christmas has already been altered to reflect these changes, and will be applied to other multi-part films as they also receive 3-D options and/or closed...
