By: Andrew Bermudez (Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; November 20, 2009)      While Mustache Maniacs Film Co.'s latest productions were being filmed and edited, a new star was introduced. Starring in this holiday season's A Very Patrick Christmas , he has it made. He has servants, who feed him, give him water, give him affection, and clean up after him. He spends most of the day walking around, watching the birds, and sleeping wherever he pleases. After all, he is a cat.      Born in 2000, Lawrence Bermudez has lived the high life. He especially has liked and disliked holidays. He hates Halloween (he is afraid of strangers and doesn't like the sound of the door bell ringing.), but loves Christmas, since he can lounge underneath the Christmas Tree all month long. That's why it was appropriate for him to make a cameo in A Very Patrick Christmas . He plays the part of the Toymaker's cat, like the one in the new Winter Toy Shop ( ht...

Patrick will Come Home this Holiday Season!

By: Andrew Bermudez (Lego Studios; October 22, 2009)      After the announced delay of the "Patrick's Adventures" comic, the studio has been receiving complaints that they want the comic as soon as possible. "However," stated Mark Matthew, head of the studio's board of directors, "we don't have the time right now to make it. The same thing happened to Ghost Pictures, Captain Redbeard's Lost Gold, Black Friday , and the short commercials. I think we got a little too far ahead of ourselves this year. Regardless, the comic will debut Fall 2010."      Despite this, Steven Lawrence, the director for Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile , announced that he has good news for the fans. "TBC, the TV station that agreed to promote our film during their holiday special, has gotten official permission to visit with Patrick at his parents' house for Christmas." It is currently not known what will happen, but what we do know is ...

Now to get audiences prepared for this year's fright fest, Lego Studios has decided to give the audience a look into next year's spook-tacular! Titled Forest of Fear , the film will feature a couple stranded out in a dark and spooky forest. There's a werewolf, a vampire, a mad scientist and even an angry mob! Will the couple escape before the spooks get them?      During the unveiling, an initial piece of concept art was revealed. The art shows the couple surrounded by trees. "I designed the trees to have hand-like branches," said artist and script writer Peter Samuel. "This is meant to symbolize that the forest has the couple prisoner. I feel that this artwork truly gives the movie an identity of its own."      Currently, the script is in its conceptual phase. The f...

Also, the studio has been working up another script for a potential horror movie. There just hasn't been enough time lately to do anything else.      Therefore, last night, the unanimous decision was made to cancel the proposed 'Patrick's Adventures' Comic Series. "I know many of the fans will be disappointed, but we just don't have the time right now," stated Mark Matthew, head of the board of directors. "I know it was meant to fill in the blank between the two Johnny Thunder movies, but there is no need to worry, because Lord Sinister fills in that blank in Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile .      During the press conference, resident writer Peter Samuel also added that the proposed ...
