Studio Update: Welcome to The Harrowing Howling Hollow!

    Did you know that our most-watched film is NOT Johnny Thunder and the Secret of Marco Polo? It's actually the horror-comedy film Forest of Fear, which first debuted in 2011 to polarizing opinions, but also to strong viewership. Since then, the film has spawned its own sequel, a spin-off film, an in-development prequel, an in-universe travel guide, and a special project that turns the film's locale into a functioning theme park land! Since there's so much to cover in this corner of the cinematic universe, we're devoting an entire month to the town of Howling Hollow!

The Harrowing Howling Hollow: What to Expect for October

    Howling Hollow was originally designed to be a creepy hillbilly town but has really grown into a living, breathing place with its own history and community! This month may not completely cover the town, but here's everything that's releasing this month.

  • On October 18, the art gallery and storyboard comparison for A Bite of MyJobs will debut.
  • Soon after, on October 20, the mini cookbook sampler A Taste of Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear will be released.
  • On October 25, Alms Pouch: Finished At Last! will finally be... well, finished at last.
  • Finally, on October 28, the re-release of Indiana Jones and the Treasure of Tikal will debut, alongside a deleted scenes and outtakes reel.
  • Throughout the month, additional merchandise will be added to the Mustache Maniacs Merchandise Market, including some highly desirable items to get ready for Christmas! Dollar Days may return as needed later in the month.
  • And more art for Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear will be showcased later on this month, focusing on the attraction Torgo's Terror Tours.

Again, some of these releases may change, so keep an eye out here for any additional news.

A Taste of Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear Has an October 20 Debut, but What is it?

    In the above announcements, you might have noticed a surprise addition to the line-up: A Taste of Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear. This has not been talked about before and has yet to receive a final title treatment, so what is it? Long story short, A Taste of Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear is a cookbook sampler from Cooking With Flex: Recipes from Around Mustache Maniacs Film Co.'s Cinematic Universe that contains only the recipes related to the special project Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear. Make no mistake, that cookbook is still in development, as many of the recipes were already finished (and featured in Mustache Maniacs Film Co: The Visual Dictionary - 3rd Edition), but the book has missed its target. This led to a question: which book should get pushed back to 2025 for the sake of the other: this one or Tales Across The World: A Short Story Collection? The latter won out in retaining its 2024 release, meaning that this sampler is a way to "get a taste" of Cooking With Flex before its now 2025 debut. This small cookbook of recipes related to this special project will be out October 20.

An Update on "Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear!"

Headquarters; November 5, 2023)     If you remember our special project Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  that debuted on February 1 of this year, you might be wondering what's going on there. Well, today, we have the answer! Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  is Having a Multi-Part Story Reveal for Two Weeks!      Over the last several months, the project has seen sporadic updates to the back-story of the land, as well as the layout and the characters, the latter of which were just revealed to celebrate Halloween. Now, starting today, the project blog is going to have daily updates for the next two weeks that will walk you through the main story of the land by way of the interactive game HowlSpace: The Howling Hollow Messaging App , which includes in-depth looks at each location as they become relevant in the said game. Original Classics as They Were are Returning with "Original Cuts," Coming April 18, 2024!

Headquarters; March 31, 2024)     Even in the midst of this celebration, we've just revealed some new ways to celebrate the day-of twentieth anniversary of Mustache Maniacs Film Co.! In addition to some new music albums and the release of artwork from our canceled projects, we're also introducing a new project titled Original Cuts ! What is the Special Project  Original Cuts ?      Long story short, Original Cuts  is a special project that aims to preserve classic Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movies as they were originally released. We realized during the backup of the physical archive last year that these DVDs are progressively getting worse for wear, and with 2015's DVD Archival Project only backing up the special editions of all of these films, these original versions were at risk of being lost forever.
