"Mustache Maniacs Film Co.: The Visual Dictionary - 3rd Edition" Has Arrived!

    It's been a flurry of activity over the past few days! Sandwiched between two new behind the scenes videos covering Sam N' Bob Brawl and Freddy and Joey in Corn Farm, we've just released the highly anticipated Mustache Maniacs Film Co.: The Visual Dictionary - 3rd Edition!

Mustache Maniacs Film Co.: The Visual Dictionary - 3rd Edition Has Made its Debut!

    After spending over two years in development, the latest edition of our visual dictionary has finally arrived! It's been updated from cover to cover with not only the latest information about our newest films, but also with a brand-new art direction that allows it to blend seamlessly into Twenty Years Young! If you've already read our previous edition of this landmark encyclopedia of all things Mustache Maniacs Film Co., here are all of the changes that were made for this edition.

  • The front and back covers were completely overhauled with an aesthetic modeled after the box art for the LEGO Studios product line. New section intros also use this art direction.
  • All of the headers were reset in the typeface AR Bonnie.
  • The introduction has added a section about Mustache Max and Without a Blacksmith is now also mentioned. The spread "More Than Just Movies" was also updated to include projects such as the latest music albums.
  • All of the previously held-over factual errors, grammatical issues, and spelling mistakes have all been corrected.
  • For the first time ever, Tales of the Adventurers, The Lost Ruby: An Interactive Adventure, Shady Acres Super Sleuth, and Out of His Time, all of which existed at the release of the second edition but were not included, now have their own pages.
  • A spread about the cinematic universe was introduced and the page "The Online Network" has been updated to reflect the current look of said online network.
  • Every project that has been released since the release of the second edition, from Ninjago: Visions of Memories up through Sackie's Mishap (And Other Tales), is now included. The projects previously listed as coming soon have been updated to reflect their releases since then.
  • New pages about upcoming projects, including Tales Across the World and Pharaoh's Quest: Tyrant of the Chaco, have been added. In addition, the two spreads "The Future of Project U" and "Writing the Final Chapter" have been overhauled.
  • Two new spreads, titled "Character Art" and "The Art of World-Building" have been added, replacing the previous spread "The Art of Mustache Maniacs Film Co."
  • A new conclusion takes a look at the people who have worked on these projects. Also, the advertisements have been replaced with a spread featuring the projects of Twenty Years Young.

We were pretty quiet in the build-up to Twenty Years Young , but we did still have a substantial amount of content this past year. An Update on "Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear!"

Headquarters; November 5, 2023)     If you remember our special project Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  that debuted on February 1 of this year, you might be wondering what's going on there. Well, today, we have the answer! Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear  is Having a Multi-Part Story Reveal for Two Weeks!      Over the last several months, the project has seen sporadic updates to the back-story of the land, as well as the layout and the characters, the latter of which were just revealed to celebrate Halloween. Now, starting today, the project blog is going to have daily updates for the next two weeks that will walk you through the main story of the land by way of the interactive game HowlSpace: The Howling Hollow Messaging App , which includes in-depth looks at each location as they become relevant in the said game. Original Classics as They Were are Returning with "Original Cuts," Coming April 18, 2024!

Headquarters; March 31, 2024)     Even in the midst of this celebration, we've just revealed some new ways to celebrate the day-of twentieth anniversary of Mustache Maniacs Film Co.! In addition to some new music albums and the release of artwork from our canceled projects, we're also introducing a new project titled Original Cuts ! What is the Special Project  Original Cuts ?      Long story short, Original Cuts  is a special project that aims to preserve classic Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movies as they were originally released. We realized during the backup of the physical archive last year that these DVDs are progressively getting worse for wear, and with 2015's DVD Archival Project only backing up the special editions of all of these films, these original versions were at risk of being lost forever.
