Travel into the Depths of Space in "Galactic Convoy," Coming June 14, 2024!

    While the line-up for Twenty Years Young has continued to evolve, we've got a twist that we're sure you weren't expecting: an all-new film! Read all about it in today's news update!

Galactic Convoy will be Released on June 14, 2024!

    Just in time for brickfilms.com's Universe and Beyond competition (an unofficial part of LEGO's recent space brand marketing push), an all-new space-faring adventure titled Galactic Convoy will be released on June 14! This short film follows a group of four extraterrestrial runners-for-hire who are moving cargo on behalf of Futuron Corporation, but things take an action-packed turn when Blacktron Renegades jump on their heels! This colorful film will be a modern tribute to the classic factions of LEGO Space while introducing not just a new cast of characters to the cinematic universe, but also an entire universe that exists outside of Earth!

How We're Taking the Cinematic Universe into Space!

    Speaking on that note, the Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Cinematic Universe has already explored some pretty weird corners of Earth while reconciling many of LEGO's play themes into one shared universe. With Galactic Convoy, our hope is to generate interest in everything that's happening in the universe outside of Earth, a mission statement that's similar to the aforementioned LEGO Space Branding. However, should this plan take off (no pun intended), we're not content with just plopping aliens into the cinematic universe and calling it good (we've kind of already done that with Space Attack anyway). Rather, we want to create a relatively scientifically accurate portrayal of what could exist out in the universe while entrenching it all in rich worldbuilding. And then, it's only a matter of time to see how these characters react to the events leading up to Legends of the Universe!

We were pretty quiet in the build-up to Twenty Years Young , but we did still have a substantial amount of content this past year. January     To kick off the new year,  Hunted: A (Not) Bigfoot Story  was released on January 8. This tale of a hillbilly with overgrown hair and the campers who think that he's bigfoot was created for THAC 2023. Original Classics as They Were are Returning with "Original Cuts," Coming April 18, 2024!

Headquarters; March 31, 2024)     Even in the midst of this celebration, we've just revealed some new ways to celebrate the day-of twentieth anniversary of Mustache Maniacs Film Co.! In addition to some new music albums and the release of artwork from our canceled projects, we're also introducing a new project titled Original Cuts ! What is the Special Project  Original Cuts ?      Long story short, Original Cuts  is a special project that aims to preserve classic Mustache Maniacs Film Co. movies as they were originally released. We realized during the backup of the physical archive last year that these DVDs are progressively getting worse for wear, and with 2015's DVD Archival Project only backing up the special editions of all of these films, these original versions were at risk of being lost forever. We're going all in to recognize the importance of our planet with characters from New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable ! But that's not all that we have planned this month! Papa Dodo's Ecosystem Observance : What to Expect in April         April is upon us, and with this month being Earth Month, it was only appropriate to celebrate with New Friends ~ An Environmental Fable ! Let's take a look at what's in store for this month.
