CONFIRMED: "Tale of Ulysses" is Releasing July 17, 2022!

    After weeks of no word, we have an official release date for Tale of Ulysses! That and all of the details for our BRAWL 2022 entry are what's in store in today's press release.

Tale of Ulysses Will be Released on July 17, 2022!

    Yesterday, the fine folks at Bricks in Motion officially announced that BRAWL 2022 will be occurring between July 9th and July 16th of this year! While this is much later than we originally anticipated, we are already preparing for this all-new origin story for one of our most popular original characters! We're already working out the production notes for this short film, ensuring that the film will have a speedy development process when July 9th arrives. That just begs the question...

What Will Tale of Ulysses be About if it's a BRAWL 2022 Entry?


    Of course, since BRAWL 2022's theme won't be known until the competition's start, the details of the story are going to be left open-ended for the time being. However, what we can provide is a spoiler-free, script-hasn't-been-written-yet-proof official description for the film, which is featured below.

The year is 1874, and Corporal Ulysses S. Powell is hot on the trail of the escaped Thompson Gang! It seems like Ulysses has caught up to these nefarious bandits, but before he's able to apprehend them, the unexpected happens! Does Ulysses have the cunning needed to bring these outlaws to justice?

This description allows us to be as flexible with the story as possible, so that the theme will work with the overall plot and cinematic universe.

Locations That May Appear in Tale of Ulysses.

    The film is, naturally, based on LEGO's Wild West product line and draws inspiration from the already-canonical film America: Outlawed. Because of this, there is already a proposed selection of locations that could appear in the film. They are as follows:

  • Fort Legorado
  • Gold City
  • Rapid River Village
  • Desert Trail
  • Bandits' Gold Mine Hideout

This is where all of our confirmed details end, as we won't have anything else concrete until the start of the competition.

    With that said, we're already busy getting content ready for the rest of the year, so there is plenty to look forward to!

An Update on "Howling Hollow: The Forest of Fear!"

Well, today, we have the answer!
