"On The Theme Park Loop" Delayed to July 1! Plus, A New Survey!

(Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Headquarters; June 1, 2021)

Today, we have some upsetting news to share. While this is not good news, we had to make this decision in the best interest of the show's quality. Here is everything that you need to know.

On The Theme Park Loop Delayed to July 1 for Quality Control!

Yesterday, due to complications that occurred during editing, we made the decision to delay the debut of On The Theme Park Loop by one month. While we are not experiencing any software complications (at least, not anymore), we did discover that the footage itself contains some unacceptable errors that will require reshoots and re-recordings. The online themed entertainment community has become very robust over the past year with ever-increasing quality of content, and if we hope to match the best out there, we need to hit the ground running. Therefore, here is our schedule update for the show for this year.

  • June: The trailer will be released, with this also marking the official debut of the show's YouTube Channel and Facebook page.
  • July: The first three episodes will be released at the same time. This will also mark our petition to enter the Theme Park Tube community.
  • August-November: Three additional episodes will be released during this timeframe, as well as possible specials, content permitting.
  • December: During Christmas break, the show will be evaluated to see what can be improved for 2022.
Needless to say, the show's website (which is currently now available) will continue to remain online in spite of the delay. We have a new blog there that talks about the latest stories in the themed entertainment industry with commentary provided, and you can whet your appetite for what's to come next month with the video descriptions! And that's not all!

Shop Debut Now Coinciding With the Show's Debut!

Yes, we're still pushing for a July 1 debut for our new store, and while we're experiencing some technical issues with the music site, we are working on resolving them all this month. This means that there's a lot to look forward to on July 1, and to whet your whistle on what you can buy, here's another day 1 design that wasn't ready on Friday.

It's for the show that was supposed to be released today and, what you will soon discover, an end quote from that show's trailer! "What could possibly go wrong?" is a common joke and trope used in theme park design, so having a shirt emblazoned with this phrase is only the most appropriate way to celebrate this show! Just like all of the day 1 designs, this design will be available on a multitude of designs.

We also plan on releasing a second wave of music that day, which will be available to purchase right from the start, as well as some additional music that will be ready to stream only! Here's what will be available on July 1.

  • Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra
  • When Barrels Fly
  • On The Theme Park Loop
  • Art Demonstration Show
  • Kilroy Was Here! (streaming only)
  • Our Dead Movies (streaming only)

This is all part of a content push to bring in even more fans, so stay turned for more promotional material!

Survey for Recovered Films for 2024!

Recently, as we backed up all of the tapes from our earlier years, we stumbled across several films that we thought had been lost! Since we were also planning Twenty Years Young at the time, we began to toss around ideas on how to restore these films for archival purposes. That then led to discussions on how to handle official releases of these films. Since we have yet to decide, we are now turning to the fans to see how they would like to see these old films released. Leave your thoughts in the comments on how you would like to see these films released for the modern day. These are the options that we are pursuing.

  • Only edit the films for archival purposes and don't release them online.
  • Release them as a tribute montage of recovered films.
  • Merge them into an anniversary tribute montage of several of our previous films.
  • Edit them as much as possible and release them as separate films.
  • Combine them together and with new footage to create a brand-new film celebrating our twentieth anniversary.

In case you were wondering, the films that would be released under this decision are:

  • TBC News Report (Live Action)
  • Cops Series (Brickfilm)
  • Legoman: The Crafty Clown Caper (Brickfilm; Incomplete)
  • Medal of Honor (Toy Film)
  • Xtreme Stunts Movie (Brickfilm)
  • Alpha Team: Deep Freeze (Brickfilm; Incomplete)
  • Unnamed Christmas Special (Brickfilm; Incomplete)
This survey will run until the end of October in order to give people time to share their thoughts. Yes, that means that you will be hearing about this A LOT until Halloween.

Pushing Forward with Venomosa: The Bounty of Billy: When Will it be Released?

Looking to other projects, we would be remiss to not talk about the film that we want to release this month: Venomosa: The Bounty of Billy. Unfortunately, Bricks in Motion has been completely silent about BRAWL 2021 as of late, so we're mostly waiting for the go-ahead from them to officially commit to a release date. However, we can't commit to any plot details at the moment, since most of that will be determined by the competition's theme. What we can share, though, is the film's official description!

After Lord Sam Sinister gets tied up in the business of an associate, his henchmen get the vacation that they never wanted! William "Billy the Kid" Parker is now the target of the feared and infamous hired gun Silencia Venomosa, and it's up to Patrick and John "Six Shots" Parker to rescue him! As Patrick and John Parker fumble up their rescue attempt, they discover that Silencia's employer has very dangerous motives that neither is smart enough to comprehend!

Pending the timing for BRAWL 2021, Venomosa: The Bounty of Billy is expected to be released on June 26, 2021.

Questions About Ninjago: Master of Fear and its Release Date

The other film that is being evaluated in terms of its release date is Ninjago: Master of Fear. Considering the current timing of On The Theme Park Loop, it looks like keeping to the current release schedule of August 13 will be the best course of action. However, some people in the studio want to delay the film to closer to Halloween, as the film is a light horror movie. Needless to say, this film will be released this year, in order to follow up on the events of Ninjago: Visions of Memories and their place in the cinematic universe. We will keep you informed as this develops.

Lead Out

This is unfortunate news to share, but we are aiming to stabilize our schedule as the local economy continues to reopen from COVID-19. This June should be busy for us, but we are planning on plowing forward with our current projects.

Comments

  1. As long as "Venomosa: The Bounty of Billy" is nothing like this, you'll be fine!

In full seriousness, from what I've seen so far (particularly from the wiki and the synopses of her canceled brickfilms), you seem to have a pretty good understanding of Venomosa's character, so I don't think you need to worry too much. I'm eagerly looking forward to BRAWL this year!
