That's a Wrap! "Pharaoh's Quest" Finishes Principal Photography!

After almost four long years, Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra has now finished filming! Read on for all of the details and other news!

Filming Concludes for Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra!
While this project took longer to shoot than we ever anticipated, we are glad to say that yesterday, Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra wrapped up principal photography! This means that we are now left with editing, which is itself almost done. We are really fast-tracking this production for release before the summer begins, though our only expected major delay that we anticipate is the film's score. More on that later.
"With the Covid-19 pandemic gripping the world, we are glad that we can share some good news with our fans," said LEGO Studios CEO Mark Matthew. "This major milestone for our big blockbuster film this year is not only a win for our fan base, but for Project U as a whole. We look forward to seeing everyone's reactions when the film is finally released later this year." Post production is expected to take another month to complete.

Dylan Johnson Set to Score Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra!
After his score for the re-release of When Barrels Fly received critical acclaim, Dylan Johnson is slated to return in order to score Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra! We are very excited to work with this acclaimed composer again, as his work has received much acclaim. We will keep you posted about any updates.

Final Trailer for Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra to be Released Next Month!
Since filming is now complete, we have decided that now would be a great time to release one last trailer for the film! The trailer will release in April, ahead of the release of a brand-new (but still confidential) project. This trailer will focus more on the story and atmosphere of the film, as well as contain the official and final release date for the film. Stay tuned for that!

A Future in the Past Has Already Started Filming!
What's that? Our time travel film is already in production? It's hard to believe, but since A Future in the Past features events that happen concurrently with other films, this film has started production just as Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra has finished production! We can't reveal why this is, but we are already on our way to getting this film ready for its own release! However, this film is currently undergoing a major re-write, so do not expect this film to be released for some time. In the meantime...

Patrick: The Movie Preparing for Production!
With two Egyptian adventures under our belt, we're just about ready to start filming our third! It will take some time to set up, as some existing sets will need to be modified for this production, but we're sure that our new adventure from Patrick Hooligans' past will be a hit with our fans!

Re-Releases Scaled Back in Response to Covid-19
While we are still going ahead on our planned re-releases of The Adventures of Legoman and Johnny Thunder and the Gift of the Nile, we have decided that, in the best interest of the health of our performing cast, these last two re-releases will be scaled back. Instead of scraping the audio and re-recording everyone's dialogue, which was the original plan, we are now going the route of modulating all of the audio to preserve the dialogue (similar to the re-release of Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients) and re-editing the rest of the audio from there. Any planned changes to the visuals of these two films should mostly not be effected, though not recording new dialogue means that newly-filmed scenes will either be rewritten or cut altogether. We'll inform you of any more information as we continue to weather this storm.

Lead Out
With all of these projects concluding and entering principal photography, we have a lot of future content to look forward to this year! Stay tuned for more news!
