Tonight, we have some news to share, which we hope you will find insightful and informative.
First, thanks to our commitment to improving the quality of our films, we now have over 1,000 subscribers on YouTube! This is a major leap forward for us, as we are transitioning to a new camera! That's right, we're phasing out the Microsoft Lifecam 1080p in favor of the Sony Handycam HDR-CX675! While the camera films video at full HD 1080p, pictures are captured at over 8 megapixels, meaning that our films will look better than ever! Here's our transition schedule.
- The Third Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards: Last film to entirely use the Microsoft Lifecam 1080p.
- Pharaoh's Quest: The Curse of Amset-Ra: On-going filming with switch to the Sony Handycam HDR-CX675. Footage filmed with the Microsoft Lifecam 1080p will not be re-shot.
- A Future in the Past: First film to entirely use the Sony Handycam HDR-CX675. Will be our first film to be released in 4K.
In the meantime, however, there have been some delays. First, The Third Mustache Maniacs Film Co. Fan Choice Awards and Crazy Compendium have been delayed to March for their release. Unfortunately, things have been very hectic lately, so don't be surprised if there are further delays.
We also want to remind everyone that if they haven't voted in our opinion survey, check it out on the right side of this press room and vote as soon as possible! You only have until the end of February to vote, after which votes will be counted.
Along with this, we have been working to make our films look more professional than ever! We don't have the specific details, but I can say that we are currently throwing around ideas for enhancing our brand. Throughout the year, we'll be experimenting, so if odd videos, images, and press releases appear and disappear, they are just part of this test to see where audience traffic is at its heaviest. If you like what you see during this experiment, feel free to let us know! The only bad feedback is none at all!
