Studio Update: Slow-Downs and Speed-Ups

As work continues here at the studio, we have some news to share! First, we would like to remind everyone that casting is still on-going for Round 3 of Project U! What's more, we've now extended the deadline for signing up for auditions to July 31, 2015! We are also opening the remaining parts for auditions, which includes characters from Legends of the Universe! However, if you did not get the memo previously, here it is again, now updated.

Just like before, any interested readers can send us a list of the characters they want to audition for via the Contact Us page on our website. Anyone who enters will be eligible for auditions.
However, in the light of certain disinterest, we are pulling the proposal for a Mustache Maniacs Film Co. cookbook. The poll has now been closed and the project will be scrapped.
In other news, filming for Alpha Team: Mission Deep Jungle has slowed down, though more work will be done over the coming weeks, and The Central Florida Experience has completely stalled, with rumors circulating that it too will be scrapped. "I think we need to all face the hard truth: Vacation: Unlimited is a dead horse," said Drawn to Life Animation head Steve Brocko. "It was fun while it lasted, and we got some really fun entries for the two contests we hosted, but to me, it's not really relevant anymore and is little more than a distraction." It is possible that The Central Florida Experience will be phased out by the end of March.
However, Steve Brocko was able to change the conversation to a happier note. "We are making steady progress on Alms Pouch," he said. "While we are falling behind schedule, I am not too concerned at this moment about getting the film done on time. I actually scheduled too much per week, giving us six weeks of cushion time. While it is not unlimited, it still is a way to relieve stress." The finished film will be released this summer.
In other news, work is ramping back up for LEGO Island: The Animated Series, but with it comes some bad news: the series will have to be indefinitely delayed until season 1 is finished. "We want to release these episodes on a regular basis," said Steve Brocko. "In order to do this, all of season 1 has to be finished first. Otherwise, our release schedule will be too unpredictable." It is possible, then, that the series will air in 2016. Between now and then, the website will be updated with teasers for the series.
